Wandering Baker ~ The Art Of Sourdough (2 Hours)

Sourdough, wherever you call home. Ever wanted to make beautiful sourdough bread but felt overwhelmed by starters, fermentation, hydration, and the endless conflicting advice online? Let me bring the bakery to you. The Wandering Baker is a private, hands-on sourdough workshop held right in your own kitchen. Together, we’ll go from starter to shaped loaf while learning how to actually read your dough—rather than simply follow a recipe. We’ll cover starter care, mixing, gluten development, stretch & folds, bulk fermentation, shaping, scoring, and baking, all while working with your kitchen, your equipment, and your oven. You’ll leave with an active Crust & Co. sourdough starter, a shaped loaf ready to bake, recipes and guides, and—most importantly—the confidence to keep baking on your own. 2 hours · Private in-home experience · $165 No fancy equipment or previous sourdough experience required. Just bring your curiosity—and I’ll bring the starter. 🥖🤎 A Few Things Before We Bake 🥖 Private & Small-Group Classes Wandering Baker classes are designed for up to two participants and are priced at the listed class rate. Wandering Baker: The Art of the Croissant (2.5 Hours)
Wandering Baker: The Art of the Croissant (2.5 Hours)

Lamination, technique & the perfect bake There’s something magical about a really good croissant — crisp, golden layers giving way to a buttery, tender center. In this hands-on workshop, I’ll bring you into the world of laminated pastry and teach you the techniques behind the croissants that have become a signature of Crust & Co. We’ll work through the fundamentals of laminated dough, including dough development, butter preparation, lamination, turns, temperature control, shaping, proofing, and baking. We’ll talk about what your dough should look and feel like at every stage, and—perhaps most importantly—how to troubleshoot when things don’t go quite according to plan. We’ll also explore Danish pastry techniques, including shaping and finishing, so you can take the foundation of what you’ve learned and create your own pastries at home. You’ll leave with hands-on experience, recipes and techniques, and the confidence to tackle laminated pastry in your own kitchen. 2.5 hours · Private in-home workshop · $195 No previous pastry experience required. A little patience helps. A lot of butter is non-negotiable. 🥐🤎 A Few Things Before We Bake 🥖 Private & Small-Group Classes Wandering Baker classes are designed for up to two participants and are priced at the listed class rate.
