How quickly should I expect a response once I’ve put in an order?
We aim to answer orders within 2 business days with your order total and pick-up instructions. If you haven’t heard from us or if you want to check in on your order, feel free to message us on social media!
Can I request special items or designs in my order?
Absolutely! Please note any requests in the comment/discount section of the order form. We will confirm with you via our email communication if we are able to fulfill that request. Heads up–we specialize in rustic, homestyle treats so custom icing designs on cookies are not something we are offering at this time.
What if I miss picking up my order on my chosen Friday?
Life happens! We get it. Please schedule with Rebecca via email, instagram, or facebook to schedule another time or day within the 1-day window. Otherwise, your goodies will be given to local first responders.
Do you offer gluten and/or dairy free options for your goodies?
We choose recipes that we personally know, love, and enjoy regularly. We are always experimenting with new flavors and GF/DF options, but we may not always be able to offer alternative options to our normal menu items until we feel comfortable that the recipes will turn out fabulously every time. If you have a special request for an item, whether it's for dietary restrictions or simply an alternative menu item, please reach out and we’ll see what we can do!
How do I change an order after I’ve already placed it?
Please message us on Instagram or Facebook ASAP and let us know what changes need to be made. Please note–if you’re wanting to change, add, or remove items in your order, please connect with us 2 days prior to the pick-up date. Otherwise, we may not be able to honor the request.
Can I order raw cookie dough, sourdough, or other raw dough products from you?
At this time, we are not allowed to officially offer raw products due to the cottage bakery laws in Texas.
Can you ship your treats?
At this time, we are not allowed to ship our products due to the cottage bakery laws in Texas. However, if you’re coming to town, please message us and we’d love to have a special pick-up day for treats just for you!
How long will my food be fresh?
Since they are free of preservatives and junky shelf-life extenders, our baked goods are best enjoyed within the first 3 days of their production.
Can I freeze my treat for later use?
Yes! You may freeze any treat (leftover or whole) and they will still taste delicious as long as they’re stored properly (and they always taste better warm–yum!).
Can I set up recurring weekly pick-ups for myself or my work?
We would love to supply you with weekly goods! Please connect with us via social media or email (thestevenseden@gmail.com) and we can get your baking subscription started!
Sourdough Workshop Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
I know life can be unpredictable (sick kids, family emergencies, etc. 🤍), so I’ve created this policy to be as fair and flexible as possible while also honoring the time and preparation that goes into each class.
- All bookings are non-refundable.
Each class is small and ingredients and dough are prepared several days in advance just for you.
- Need to reschedule?
You’re welcome to move your spot to a future class one time at no cost if you let me know at least 5 days before your workshop.
- Late changes (within 5 days):
If something comes up closer to the class, I completely understand! Because prep is already underway, rescheduling within 5 days will require a $25 rescheduling fee.
- Within 72 hours of the workshop:
At this point, everything is fully prepared. While I’m not able to reschedule, you’re always welcome to:
- Send a friend in your place, or
- Gift your spot to someone else
- No-shows will forfeit their spot.
Thank you so much for understanding and for supporting my small home bakery—it truly means a lot!
