The sour dough bread was very artisan and delicious, I just would prefer it taste more sour. The cinnamon rolls with pecans were delicious, but I didn’t care for the sugary cinnamon syrup that they sat in and I would have baked them a bit longer, doughy in the middle. I am a cinnamon roll snob. I will order again to try some other items.

I have subscribed to Erica’s weekly sourdough bakers choice for a couple months. Every week it’s a glorious new sourdough, umame, buckwheat walnut, rosemary Parmesan even an apricot taste of spring. Every week is my new favorite and it is the best sourdough in Solono county. I highly recommend any and all of Erica’s products; for Mother’s Day she made macarons, delicious. And don’t forget she even delivers! Thank you Erica

Absolutely love the idea of fresh homemade breads being delivered to my home. Quality ingredients and you know what you’re eating. Absolutely love the baguettes and jalapeño cheese sourdough bread.

Erica’s bread is amazing! I ordered a loaf of sourdough, a baguette of sourdough, and ciabatta bread. When she delivered it, it was still a little warm so I immediately cut a slice of the sourdough loaf, spread some butter and went to heaven. The crust was perfect, crunchy but easy to cut through. The inside was light but dense all at the same time. My husband used the ciabatta bread for chicken sandwiches. Again, the crust was crunchy but easy to cut through and the inside had the perfect texture. He loved how well it toasted while still easy to eat. We also stored some in the freezer according to Erica’s instructions on her website FAQs. We will absolutely order again and if we can get the timing right on our end, we would love to subscribe to weekly orders. The delivery is especially convenient. Sunflower bakehouse is truly a hidden gem for great homemade bread in the area. Will recommend to EVERYONE I know.

I recently ordered sourdough bread from this new home bakery, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The loaf had a beautifully crisp, golden crust with the perfect chewy texture inside. The flavor was outstanding, with just the right balance of tangy and rich, with that authentic sourdough depth you hope for but don’t always find. You can truly taste the care and quality ingredients in every slice. It was fresh, well-packaged, and is delivered right to my front porch every Thursday because I chose the monthly subscription. It paired perfectly with dinner and made amazing toast the next morning where butter seeped in to every delicious nook and cranny. I’m so excited to support this new local business and will definitely be ordering again, especially the cinnamon rolls. Highly recommend to anyone who loves delicious, homemade sourdough bread! Very excited to watch this business grow and taste all the delicious offerings.
