Holly is not only a wonderful person but she is an actual sourdough angel!! I ordered the dill pickle loaf and the chocolate chip cookies. First of all... the cookies are dangerous. They are THE BEST chocolate chip cookies I have ever had. I am having to use extreme willpower to not just have a session and eat them all. The dill pickle bread is unlike anything I have ever had in a GREAT way. The flavor is perfectly balanced and the bread is the perfect texture and can be eaten in so many ways. Holly... YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR!! So glad to have met you and I look forward to trying more of your amazing creations!

Risen is the best sourdough I’ve had in the Treasure valley! Her different loaves with catchy names are so fun and original and they’re packed with flavor. You can tell that this bread is not only well baked but also well loved by the baker!

OK, I have had my fair share of "World Famous Cinnamon Rolls", but Holly's rolls TAKE THE CAKE (or the WHOLE freaking bakery). Holly clearly puts so much creativity, love and passion into her craft. I got my first loaf for Italian brushetta. This bread is a perfect marriage with the tomato, Italian herbs and basil! Tasted like home (Italy)! My second loaf will now be breakfast, lunch and dinner! Holly's suggestion for maple butter and cinnamon sugar... Perfection!

Not only is the customer service top notch, but the bread and cookies are out of this world. Very generous sizes and they melt in your mouth. A huge difference in taste and quality from buying anywhere else. Wish I could give 10 stars!

I am so happy to have found this Gem of a baker in Middleton,Idaho! Her menu is super creative and is so delicious! I had the pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls ( the glaze is dreamy) I had the stinky rose sourdough and my family ate the entire loaf in one sitting. I also ordered the Deck the halls granola. So yummy. I’m happy with all of it and can’t wait for my next order!

I ordered the jalapeño cheese bread. The loaf was perfectly shaped with a crusty shell and a chewy texture. I absolutely love the hot, spicy, punchy flavor. We ate it with creamy soup for dinner— perfect compliment to our dinner. The bread was beautifully presented in a gorgeous brown sack with a bow. This would make a fantastic birthday, client, or hospital gift. I’ll definitely be ordering more!

My husband and I just had the absolute BEST sourdough jalapeño cheddar bread, Spicy Joe! Baked to perfection by a true artisan, Holly! The crust was golden and crisp, the crumb soft and chewy, with melted pockets of cheddar and just the right amount of spicy kick from the jalapeños. Bold, flavorful, and completely addictive. If you get the chance to try it, don’t walk, RUN! 🥖🧀 🌶️

I have had the extreme pleasure of purchasing the Jalapeno/Cheddar, Rosemary/Parm and Plain Jane. Comments from my family after eating this bread: “this is the best sourdough I’ve ever had…” “is there any left?“ “can you put in another order and get more?” “can you start making my lunch on that bread?” Not only is it amazing bread, but it is packaged so tastefully and well done, the ordering process is phenomenal and the pick up process is even easier. This bread is going to be a weekly staple in my home. You can tangibly feel the love that she puts into every loaf. I highly recommend this bake shop for excellent, quality baked goods.

Once you’ve had fresh sourdough you can never go back to store bought and once you’ve had Holly’s you can’t have any other bakery!! It’s to die for.

Holly is an amazing person with a special talent. Her sourdough is UNREAL. She made multiple loafs for my baby shower and they were such a hit! We especially loved the classic sourdough and the blueberry loaf🤤 If you need sourdough for daily meals or for a special event I highly recommend Risen with Holly!

Holly's granola is hands down the BEST I’ve ever had - perfectly crunchy, just the right amount of sweetness, and the spicy habanero.. packed with flavor!! It’s ideal on yogurt, or as an ice cream topping, or straight out of the bag (which is how I usually end up eating it!!) And the sourdough cinnamon rolls?! Pure perfection. Soft, fluffy, and swirled with just the right amount of cinnamon and sugar, they melt in your mouth with every bite. The glaze frosting is the perfect finishing touch—sweet treat! She'll even add candied peacan which is a must-try. You can truly taste the love and care that she puts into every handcrafted batch. And the customizable options she offers are excellent. I’ve tried the rosemary “Stinky Rose” loaf, the Olive boule, the everything bagel oval and today the Jalapeño Cheddar loaf. They were all a 10 for sure. I like the loaf size because it’s easy to cut and eat. The oval is very impressive at a dinner with friends. The bread is in the cutest packaging and gets you excited before you even try it. I recommend heating it. I bake or toast it and go on a bread only diet until it’s all gone. Truly, I have never put anything but butter only on every slice I’ve had and it’s so yummy! God Bless Bread and Holly for learning to make it right!!

Holly is amazing, the love is tasted in every bite of bread..I have tried many flavors of her breads and they are always on point.The texture is perfectly dense, moisture is amazing even when toasted there is a lovely moisture that stays, the crevices in the bread fill with butter in every bite. My favorites so far are the Nutty Blue and Basil baby, but I'm a nut lover...my next adventure will be the cinnamon rolls and foccaci bread!!!

Wow. I figured they would be good but the flavors blew me away! No part of the roll was dry. The frosting wasn’t overly sweet. It was perfectly sweet without overpowering the cinnamon roll. I highly recommend them and will be buying more for family and friends! Thank you!

I honestly didn’t give sourdough much thought until I tried Hollys. Then I understood what the world was raving about, and felt like I hit the jackpot with hers. Her menu is diverse and makes your mouth water just reading it. The granola is superb too. I ate the entire bag in one sitting. Not only are they unique and rich in taste, but you know how much love she puts into her craft. Even her packaging is beautiful and makes you feel like you’re treating yourself or someone else to something very special ( even if only for a moment… because that’s how long mine last).

Perfection at it's best! Holly uses ingredients that r wholesome and r good for gut health. Her presentation is great and I love all the different varieties I had to choose from.

Holly has really outdone herself with her sourdough bakery. The bread was shipped to me in Maine. It arrived perfectly packaged and intact. As always, when Holly embarks on a new journey, she does so with passion, commitment, and class. Her product is exceptional. I ordered the cinnamon bread and was immediately impressed with how moist it is. The texture of the bread is dense and chewy, not gummy and thin as is the case with other breads. I have eaten it toasted and slathered with butter, and just today as French toast again slathered with butter and just a touch of maple syrup. It was wonderful! Risen’s Sourdough breads are so scrumptious, moist, fresh and filling that once tasted...how can you eat store bought again? Impossible! Your spoiled. Every flavor is wonderful. My favorite is the Olive, and Cranberry/ nuts. They all have special names but it's the taste that I remember. Treat yourself to a loaf. You will not be sorry. Best part? When I freeze 1/2 of a loaf, it's just as fresh when I received it!

The bread is over the top delicious, the packaging is absolutely loving and service is outstanding! I have found my baker for life!!! 💜💕💜
