A presale basically allows you, the customer, to reserve baked goods before they're even made. It's kind of like a reservation at a restaurant, but for cookies and cakes!
Here's how it works:
I list the special pre-sale items available with a specific date and time when your pre-ordered goodies will be ready for pick-up.
Feel free to browse the presale menu and order the items you want.
Why Do You Offer Pre-Sales?
As a small batch, scratch bakery presales help us with planning inventory and avoid over-baking.
And presales let you get first dibs on these yummy treats with no worries that the goodies you want are sold out.
What Bakery Items Do You Ship?
Currently we are shipping only cookies and brownies/blondies.
To Where Will You Ship Cookies, Brownies/Blondies?
We ship within the United States only.
We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Do You Bake Custom Cakes & Cut-Out Sugar Cookies?
While our small batch, scratch bakery does offer a variety of cookie and cake flavors, we do not accept orders for personalized, themed, customized cakes, wedding cakes, or cut-out sugar cookies.
How Far In Advance Must I Place My Order?
At present, the bakery's lead time is 7 days.
For example: You place an order on June 1st, the soonest I will have it available is June 8th.
The ONLY exception to this are items specifically listed under the Pre-Sale Category. Pre-Sale Items have a specified date/time for pickup.
Do You Use Box Mixes?
NO!
Everything baked at Candice's Cookies & Cakes is made from scratch (with the exception of chocolate chips, nonpareils, flavor extracts, etc.) to provide you with the freshest and best tasting baked goods.
While box mixes may provide convenience for other bakeries I find that many box/prepackaged mixes contain bioengineered/genetically modified ingredients and additional fillers and preservatives. Those types of ingredients are not something I want to serve to my customers.
