We personally source all of our ingredients and perform quality checks to ensure all ingredients are food safe and held to a high standard. We strictly follow Food Safety laws and guidelines to ensure our products are always safe for everyone to enjoy. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order or purchasing goods from Yellow Yolks, customers agree to follow the terms outlined here. This includes abiding by any policies or rules Yellow Yolks sets forth.
Products Information:
▪︎ Availability: Yellow Yolks will make every effort to provide accurate information about product availability, but due to demand, some items may sell out or be unavailable. We require 2 days lead time (customised products will need 3 weeks' notice) to allow us to make fresh orders. However in some cases, we may have goods on hand.
▪︎ Allergen Information: Yellow Yolks will provide details on ingredients used upon request, including potential allergens like nuts, dairy, gluten, etc. However, cross-contamination may occur, so customers with severe allergies should contact Yellow Yolks for more information. Yellow Yolks does not specialise in products with dietary requirements.
FROZEN GOODS, MENU AND CUSTOMISED PRODUCTS
Pricing:
▪︎ Please note pricing is for the cake and icing only. Toppers and other decorations may incur additional costs.
▪︎ Prices are calculated in careful consideration to the ever-increasing prices of raw ingredients, hours of work spent, handcrafting skills, overheads, amongst others.
▪︎ Prices will depend on the complexity of design, quantity of toppers, variety of flowers, etc.
▪︎ Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Ordering and Payment:
▪︎ Customers must provide accurate information when placing an order, including phone number, email address and any special instructions.
▪︎ Please allow at least 3 weeks' notice when placing your order with a 50% deposit. Full payment must be completed at least 1 week before the order is due.
▪︎ Yellow Yolks may accept an order request with less than 3 weeks' notice if there is availability.
▪︎ Rush orders may incur a 20% fee.
▪︎ Any changes to your order after booking has been made may result in your invoice being revised.
▪︎ If balance/full payment has not been received by the due date, a reminder will be sent and if no contact has been made within 24 hours of the reminder, order will be automatically cancelled and deposit is forfeited.
▪︎ Frozen and Menu Products: Full payment must be made at least 2 days prior to pick-up/delivery.
Design and Specifications:
▪︎ While we take inspiration from other designs, each product is custom made and will not be an exact replica. Any specific design must be clearly communicated at order request.
▪︎ Yellow Yolks reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the design for structural and aesthetic purposes.
Refunds, Replacement and Cancellation:
▪︎ Refunds or cancellations are only accepted under certain conditions, such as product defects, incorrect orders or cancellations made more than 1 week prior to pick up or delivery.
▪︎ It is important that the customer sight and inspect the product carefully upon delivery. If no complaints are made, it is assumed the customer has approved of the product and Yellow Yolks will not be liable for any damages/defects once the product is received. Transaction is complete after delivery.
▪︎ A 20% cancellation fee (plus any decorations/toppers) will be incurred if at least 1 week’s notice is given. No refund will be offered for less than 1 week’s notice to cover the costs in preparation for your order.
Delivery and Pick-Up:
▪︎ Yellow Yolks may offer delivery services within a specific area, with any associated costs clearly communicated at checkout.
▪︎ Customers must collect their orders within a designated time frame. If orders are not picked up, they may not be refunded or replaced.
▪︎ Yellow Yolks is not responsible for delivery delays caused by external factors, such as traffic, weather conditions or if nobody is available to receive delivery and may not be refunded or replaced.
▪︎ Frozen goods: Customers are encouraged to provide an esky/cooler bag if travelling far to keep the products within safe temperatures.
Liability:
▪︎ Yellow Yolks is not liable for any allergic reactions, injuries or damages caused by the misuse of its products. Customers are encouraged to enquire about ingredients if they have any dietary restrictions or allergies.
▪︎ Yellow Yolks is also not responsible for losses or damages resulting from events beyond its control, such as delivery delays due to weather, accidents on the road, etc.
Modifications to Terms:
▪︎ Yellow Yolks reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time and will be reviewed every 6 months.
▪︎ Customers will be notified on significant changes, typically through the website or the social media.
