How to Build Your Thick Cake
Welcome! Before you dive into the order form below, please review these quick steps to ensure we create the "Thick Cake" of your dreams: • 1. 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐬: Please check out our signature sponges and fillings in the tabs above before starting your request. • 2. 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐬. 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧: The prices on our menu are Base Prices for a smooth buttercream finish. A Design & Labor Fee (starting at $20) will be added to your final quote based on the hours required to hand-craft your specific design. • 3. 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬: Have your theme or 1–2 inspiration photos ready to upload! While we don't do exact copies, they help us understand your vision. • 4. 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞: To provide the best quality, we limit the number of orders we take per day. Your date is only officially reserved once a 50% non-refundable deposit is paid through Bakesy. • 5. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞: We generally require 7–14 days' notice for all custom builds to allow for proper planning and ingredient prep.
Booking Policies & Transport
• 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 & 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬: A 50% 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 deposit is required to secure your date on our calendar. The remaining balance is due day of pickup/delivery. • 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲: To ensure every "Thick Cake" gets the labor and love it deserves, we limit the number of custom builds we accept per day. Once our limit is reached, the date will be blocked. • 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐮𝐩 𝐋𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬: Pickups are located in 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚. Please arrive within your selected 30-minute window to ensure a smooth hand-off. • 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲: Delivery is available starting at $𝟏𝟎 within a 𝟏𝟓 mile radius. Rates are calculated based on total mileage.
Thick Cake Care & Handling
• 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐭 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞: To keep your "Thick Cake" structurally sound, it must travel on a flat, level surface—the floor of your vehicle is the safest spot. • 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐥: Your car's AC should be on high during transport (weather permitting of course); cakes and heat do not mix. Never leave your cake in a parked car. • 𝐀𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐭: Car seats are slanted and bouncy; placing your cake on a seat is the #1 cause of "cake lean". • 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞: Keep your cake refrigerated until 1–2 hours before your event. • 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬: For the best flavor and "voluptuous" texture, allow your cake to come to room temperature before serving. • 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝-𝐎𝐟𝐟: Once the cake leaves our care, we are no longer responsible for any damage during transport or storage.
