I picked up my order this morning and sliced it for the freezer/had a piece as soon as I got home. The original sourdough is delicious! The loaf is a great size compared to others I’ve bought in the past and there is a very nice crust. Can’t wait to try the pain au chocolat next!

First time ordering some baked goods for my celiac daughter. She was so happy with how everything was so fresh, fluffy and like she remembered croissants and chocolate croissants tasting before her diagnosis. Will definitely order again.

I have celiac and have been eating gluten free for 15 years. The only comparable croissant I’ve had in that time was in Montreal (Ave du Parc) and the only comparable bread was in Barcelona. Do yourself a favour and make an order.

Placed my first order and already cant wait to order again, best GF croissants and sourdough bread i have ever tried, amazing taste and texture was very impressed. So glad i came across this great GF shop.

Tried the pain au chocolat and a blueberry scone and they were absolutely delicious. I haven’t had a chocolate croissant in forever and it was delightfully flaky. So excited to order again. I learned about this home based bakery on the edmonton celiac group I follow on Facebook and I was not disappointed! The bread is beautiful and artesian in quality. It has incredible texture, taste and the quality of the ingredients are unbelievable! My new favourite place to go.

Tried the regular and chocolate croissants. They are so good. Can’t even tell they are GF. So tasty! My daughter hasn’t had a croissant in 10yrs since she was diagnosed as celiac .

I got a sample of almost all her baked goods, absolutely delicious. The best gf scones of tried in 20 years. Highly recommend.

I missed eating croissants since being diagnosed with celiac but I finally satisfied my craving! The croissants are light and flakey and absolutely delicious! I also got the sourdough artisan bread that is the perfect consistency, unlike other gf breads I’ve tasted. I definitely recommend these items and will be returning for more!

Who needs gluten! My daughter who works at a bakery sampled all my tastes treats and was excited as I was about how great it all tasted. My baker daughter tried the sour dough and said "they nailed it, how did they do it" I cannot express how impressed I am with these gluten free baked goods

Today, I had the biggest surprise of my life when I picked up my baguette and ciabatta buns from this bakery...they were like a soft cloud! I couldn't tell the difference between this bread and glutinous bread - there was no difference. It was crusty on the outside and soft with big holes inside just like a regular ciabatta. This gem of a bakery is worth every penny+. I'm so impressed and happy to be able to eat such high quality delicious gf bread that I can't wait to try the other baked goodies. Thank you for giving us such wonderful gf bread.

best sourdough bread i’ve ever had, it tasted so delicious and didn’t even last a day cause we ate it so fast! The pain da chocolat were absolutely phenomenal and it was so nice to be able to have one after many years. Couldn’t even tell the products were gluten free! will be making another order soon!

I ordered sourdough loaf croissants and chocolate croissants. Bread was crusty a nd moist and delicious. Croissants were crispy and a real treat. Especially the chocolate ones. Yumm.

My husband is gluten free and we have tried several breads over the years and they all dry out, crumble, fall apart, or taste like cardboard. This sourdough is amazing and Lauren was so helpful. I cannot wait to try making my own loaf with my new starter from Flakery.

I just tried the GF croissants from Flakery GF Bakery and I will definitely be ordering again! It’s been over 15 years since I’ve tried a croissant and it was exactly how I remembered. Buttery, flaky and yummy! I can’t wait to try the sourdough bread!

I ordered 2 baguettes and the artisan sourdough bread. Yum! I tried each right away while fresh and then toasted the baguette the next day to eat with burrata, (cooled) tomatoes slowly cooked in olive oil with basil. It was like eating a real baguette! I will be ordering more for sure!

What an absolute treat - I found Lauren of Flakery Bakery Gluten Free Bakery just as she is settling in to her new location in St Albert. I thought my days of the occasional croissant treat were over - and now there is this! I licked every random flaky crumb up off the plate.😉

I purchased 8 pain O chocolate they were amazing. Light any flakey. Would never know they were Gluten Free!

The bread was very moist and did not fall apart.

My son liked the gluten free sourdough bread but absolutely loved the gluten free cinnamon raisin bread. Definitely will order again

I live with two celiac family members and noticed Lauren’s ad on Facebook. We decided to give it a try. Her bread is excellent. The size of the loafs are very generous and they look artisanal. We live in the university area and Lauren arranged for us to pick them up in Grandin (downtown area) which was so convenient. We would definitely order this bread again and look forward to trying some of her other products!

Ordered a sourdough loaf and croissants, both were great. Haven’t had a croissant in years and it was the flakey experience I’d hoped for. I do wish smaller quantities were available (half loaf, 1 or 2 croissants) as I’m just one person, but I understand the challenges with that. Will definitely order again!

Lauren's croissant are a marvel. Blissfully buttery, crispy and delicious! And her Artisan sourdough loaf is great on it's own and particularly scrumptious toasted. Run, don't walk to make your order now! You can't go wrong with Lauren's line up of gluten free baking.

I love this bread, I usually get one sourdough and one regular bread, the whole grain one. I tried the croissants one and they were fantastic too. Highly recommend

The loaf I bought was a work of art. It was almost too pretty to eat. When I picked up my order it was still warm from baking. I couldn’t wait until I got home to try some. It did not disappoint! It was flavourful and delicious. For the first time since developing my gluten allergy two years ago I felt like I was eating real bread. It’s soft and perfect. Not to sweet and perfectly seasoned. I’ve searched high and low for a croissant for two years and had been met with disappointment until now. It’s flaky and crunchy on the outside and perfect on the inside. You can see the layering and the taste was amazing. I had my husband try it who is able to eat gluten and said it tasted to good to be true and I agree. 10 out of 10 recommend. Will order again.

Lauren’s gluten free sourdough is not only delicious, but looks stunning with the floral designs she imprints!

I haven't been able to have wheat in so long but gluten-free options are usually so expensive and so disappointing that it hasn't been worth it to even keep any in the house. Not anymore!! I usually get a loaf of sourdough a week from Lauren, and it has been a revelation to have sandwiches that actually taste good again. The designs on the bread are gorgeous, you can feel the love & care in each one, and the taste and texture are phenomenal. You don't even need to toast the bread before eating it!! Unheard of! I also never thought that croissants could be made gluten-free, but these ones are really fantastic. One of them microwaved and sliced in half made for the best little avocado sandwiches! The pain au chocolat are also just lovely!
