Cassie wanted something sweet, comforting, and perfect for breakfast — so this cinnamon raisin loaf was created with her in mind. Once I started smoking it, the flavor went from great to unbelievable.

Warm, swirled, and loaded with raisins, this bread exists because someone asked for it and believed in what I was doing.

Bubba asked me for a heartier, more wholesome bread with a little sweetness, so I built this loaf from scratch just for him. The cracked wheat brings the texture, the honey adds the balance, and the smoker ties it all together.

This loaf is where it all started back in 2020. One of my first batches tasted “pretty good,” according to Grammy — but she told me it was missing something. Her suggestion to add honey changed the entire recipe and sparked everything that followed. Soft, warm, and finished on the smoker, this loaf carries the heart of how my bread journey began.
