Hi, I’m Kristin — founder and baker behind Kookies & Krusts.
What began as a love for handmade sweets and naturally fermented sourdough has grown into a thoughtfully crafted, home-based artisan bakery. I focus on organic, small-batch baking with quality ingredients, slow fermentation, and careful attention to detail.
Sourdough is at the heart of what I do — from rustic hearth loaves to bagels, cinnamon rolls, and even sourdough cookies. Each dough is naturally leavened and patiently developed for depth of flavor and balance, with flour freshly milled whenever possible to bring out its fullest character. Alongside my sourdough offerings, I create custom-decorated cookies designed to be as beautiful as they are delicious.
