Hi, I’m Jessica — the baker, dreamer, and hands behind Happy Loaf Co., a cozy cottage bakery tucked here in sunny Saint Petersburg, Florida. What started as a simple love for warm bread and homemade comfort has grown into a passion for crafting small-batch, hand-shaped baked goods that make everyday moments feel a little more special.

As a mom of little ones, I’ve spent years baking in my own kitchen, perfecting recipes during naptimes, early mornings, and the quiet in-between moments. With encouragement from friends and family, I’m now sharing those same fresh-from-the-oven joys with the community I love.

Our Leavening Options

We offer both traditional yeast-leavened and naturally fermented sourdough products. Our sourdough is made using a long, slow fermentation process with a natural starter, resulting in bread that is flavorful, easier to digest, and free from commercial yeast.

For customers who prefer sourdough, many of our yeast-leavened products can be made with sourdough starter by request. This allows you to enjoy the same favorites with the benefits of natural fermentation—just let us know when placing your order.
