My Tangzhong Sourdough Sandwich Loaf is soft, naturally leavened, and perfect for everyday slicing. Made with organic flour, organic cane sugar, and extra virgin olive oil, it’s brushed with butter right out of the oven for an ultra-soft crust and tender crumb. I use the Tangzhong method—an old-fashioned Japanese technique where a portion of the flour is gently cooked into a paste before mixing the dough. This helps lock in moisture, giving the loaf a longer shelf life and a wonderfully light, pillowy texture. Great for toast, sandwiches, or just warm with butter.
