Joanne and her daughter were fantastic hosts. We came home with 3 breads (at different stages) along with everything you need to be a successful sourdough baker. Joanne told us to be confident and enjoy the process. You can feel the love she has for baking. If you're considering sourdough this would be a great place to start

Joanna is an amazing teacher—kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the ins and outs of sourdough making and provided all the materials needed to get started. Whether you're a complete beginner or someone, like me, who didn't even know where to begin, this class is perfect. It was the best day spent learning how to bake bread, and I left feeling empowered and excited to continue my bread-making journey. I recently took Basil+ Bread’s sourdough class with a few of my girlfriends, and we had an absolute blast! Between drinks, snacks, laughs, and learning all the secrets to making sourdough, it was such a fun experience. Joanna is incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I went in feeling so intimidated, but she made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable. We each left with a fresh loaf of sourdough, plus two doughs to bake at home. As a bonus, she provides a starter kit to ensure you have everything you need for success in your own kitchen. I honestly couldn’t recommend this class enough. Thank you Joanna!!

Joanna’s class was worth every penny! I left with the full knowledge and confidence needed to join the sourdough community. She helps break down the process with plenty of hands-on help and makes it so much simpler to understand. We had a blast and came away with delicious bread and awesome tools!

Joanna was a wonderful teacher. I left with knowledge of how to make sourdough bread, three loaves of bread (1 baked, 2 to bake at home), and a bag full of bread making supplies! This class exceeded my expectations for sure!

The class was wonderful. My Granddaughter and I learned so much last week. We were provided with all the essentials to make your bread. You leave the class with three loaves of bread. One you bake there, one ready to bake at home and another that requires you to use your skills learned in the class. Very skilled and professionally taught.

I have always wanted to learn to make sourdough bread, this was a great class with all the basics and hand on experience. I left with a fully cooked warm loaf, dough that we made during class that is almost ready to bake, and sourdough starter with tools to make bread on my own. I highly recommend!

This baker is great! Her challah is our favorite. It reminds us of a bread we had in our childhood called egg bread. So yummy! Perfect for frensh toast and sandwiches! Check her out and order some! It's so worth it!

Joanna makes some of the best sourdough i have truly ever had! I have tried the bread bowls (my favorite), the regular boule, the lemon blueberry loaf, sandwich bread, the chala and bagels and they're all as good as the other :) i will always order from Joanna, she is super kind as well!

Whether you're enjoying it warm with butter, as a sandwich, or toasted with jam, this bread elevates any meal. It's truly the best homemade bread I've ever had, and I can’t recommend it enough!

We could not pick a favorite because we enjoyed them all equally. We lived how soft and flavorful everything tastes. We will be returning customers!

Amazing! Wonderful crisp and flaky crust with flavorful fruits.

We first tried a slice of the lemon blueberry loaf at a local farmers market. My kids, husband and myself loved it! Just ordered two whole loaves cuz it’s THAT good! Can’t wait to try more of her menu. Her ingredients are minimal and she’s a small local business! So you can’t go wrong! Give her stuff a try!

Not only was the peach galette incredible, but Joanna runs a great business. She was quick and communicative, and the packaging was adorable and professional. What a star! I could not recommend her product or her service enough. I look forward to MANY more delicious orders!

Joanna’s breads and cakes are absolutely wonderful! They are super fresh and clearly made with care. My favorite so far is the almond cake. It’s definitely sweet though not overpowering. Perfect for pairing with coffee or tea. I am a repeat customer. (And will continue to be one!)

Joanna’s bread is amazing! I highly recommend the Sourdough Boule. It’s always a hit with our family of six and a great addition to spaghetti night!
