Once you place your order, the website will categorize your order as a request. From there, I will send you an invoice and the website will give you payment options. If you plan on paying cash at the time of pickup, please put that in the “additional comments” section of your order.
Do you use organic ingredients?
Although we are not currently using fully organic ingredients on all of our products, we attempt to use it where we can and with what is affordable. Our sourdough starter, “Willow” is fed using locally milled, organic ingredients so that if/when we are able to transition to fully organic, we can do so easily. If you would like your products to be fully organic, simply let us know in the additional comments of your order and we will do our very best to accommodate.
Can you sell par-baked goods?
Unfortunately, Illinois cottage food law prevents us from selling anything perishable or requiring refrigeration.
How do I care for my baked goods?
Our baked goods are made fresh, and without any kind of preservatives. We have care cards that if requested we will be happy to text or email a screenshot of them. Otherwise a general consensus for room temperature storage is the breads are good for 5-7 days after their baked on date. Desserts are good for 2-3 days after they’re baked on date. Eggs will be good for up to 2 weeks on the counter, and 2 months in the fridge.
Have you thought about offering your goods at local businesses?
Yes and we understand the convenience that would give our customers. However, it would require much different licensing and home inspections, under cottage food law, Illinois requires us to sell directly to the consumer. Meaning local businesses would not be able to ‘sell’ our goods and profit from them. Unfortunately, we just aren’t there yet but are hopeful that one day we can be more accessible for our customers.

We accept Venmo, Cashapp, PayPal, and Cash payments. A QR sign and cashbox is located at the farmstand. We also have the pay ahead options that will take you directly to those payment options.
