Violet & Flour specializes in custom cakes for birthdays, celebrations, weddings and special events. We also offer cookies, dessert boxes, and seasonal treats.
How far in advance should I place my order?
As early as possible! Custom cakes should be ordered at least 1–2 weeks in advance (minimum of 2 weeks is definitely preferred).
Availability is limited, especially for weekends, so earlier is always better.
Does V&F offer last minute orders?
Occasionally, depending on availability. Please reach out as soon as possible—rush fees may apply.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your order date. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before pickup.
For larger orders, events, and weddings the remaining balance is required 1 week prior to pickup or delivery.
For any orders booked within 1 week of due date, the full non-refundable balance is due at the time of order.
Do you offer delivery?
At this time, pickup is preferred. There is a delivery fee starting at $25. Limited delivery may be available for larger orders—please inquire.
Delivery fees can range based on distance, availability, set-up requirements, & more.
Can you match a specific theme or inspiration photo?
Absolutely! Inspiration photos are welcome. While I will never copy another bakers cake exactly, I will create something beautifully aligned with your vision and Violet & Flour’s style.
Do you offer custom flavors and fillings?
Yes! We offer a variety of cake flavors, fillings, and buttercreams. Flavor menus are provided upon inquiry.
If there is a flavor you want but don’t see, just ask!
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Some accommodations may be available (such as nut-free & gluten free by request), but Violet & Flour is not a certified allergen-free kitchen.
Violet & Flour can not guarantee that products made to make custom orders did not come in contact with specific allergens in production.
Though my kitchen is not allergen friendly, when making custom orders specifically labeled with an allergy I do my absolute best to make sure nothing comes in contact or direct contact.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made close to the pickup date may forfeit additional payments already made.
Do you take large or event orders?
Yes! We accept event, corporate, and bulk dessert orders depending on availability. Please inquire early.
