A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your date. Orders are not confirmed until the deposit is received.
How far in advance should I place my order?
I recommend placing orders at least 3 weeks in advance. Availability is limited and dates are secured on a first-come basis once a deposit is received.
What happens if I need to cancel my order?
Cancellations made within 5 business days of the event result in forfeiture of all payments. Deposits remain non-refundable.
Do you offer rush orders?
Rush orders (less than 2 weeks’ notice) may be accepted at my discretion and are subject to a rush fee. Please message before placing a rush request.
Do you offer allergy-safe or dietary-restricted options?
Velvet Tier Cake Co. operates from a New York home kitchen where common allergens such as nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and soy are regularly used. While we take care in preparation, an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.
We do not offer products specifically designed to accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions. By placing an order, the client assumes all risk related to food allergies.

Are orders with custom images and toppers refundable?
No. All orders including custom images, toppers, and personalized design elements are non-refundable. These items are created or purchased specifically for your order and cannot be reused.
This applies even if an order is canceled or modified after purchase.
