You will only choose the colors — Annette will take care of choosing the flowers/design. • DELUXE: More complex flowers with two-toned color shading/details. You will only choose the colors — Annette will take care of choosing the flowers/design. • PREMIUM: Includes more intricate flowers and color shading/details. Cupcakes can have multiple flowers on them with greenery and foliage, resembling a garden. You will only choose the colors — Annette will take care of choosing the flowers/design. • PERSONALIZED: Fully customizable. You will choose the flowers AND the colors (pricing will vary based on flower types & level of color shading/details chosen) *You will also see Special Occasion, Festive Holiday and Limited-Time Special categories on the menu throughout the year as well*

Each cupcake is baked fresh to order and in small batches to ensure consistent quality and care—so every bite is just right. I craft each recipe from scratch with the best ingredients and a generous dose of LOVE 💕

The Purple Tulip is an approved and insured Cottage Food Operation, Permit #LA19J240035, issued in Los Angeles County. This approval allows me to legally prepare, package and sell baked goods from my home kitchen

Hey! I’m Annette - Owner, Baker & Floral Cupcake Artist. Ever since I can remember, I’ve always loved and had a passion for baking, with hopes of opening up my own bakery one day. While watching and helping my dad bake cookies, breads and pies as I grew up, I began to enjoy baking my own sweet and festive treats for family and friends. In August of 2024, I discovered floral cupcakes and became absolutely OBSESSED! I figured right then I wanted to pursue my favorite hobby further and decided this was the perfect time to turn it into a small business. I began testing multiple recipes, watched hours of tutorials, studied different piping techniques and practiced for months. Ultimately, I self-taught myself the intricate (and VERY patient) art of floral piping, crafted delicious cupcake recipes from scratch and perfected a tasty, but not too sweet, buttercream (specific for flower piping). I then took the steps to obtain all the required city and state permits and tax forms, business licenses, and insurance to be able to operate and sell food legally from my home kitchen. From the very beginning, it was important to me to run my business the “right way”—not just for compliance, but so every customer can feel confident and have peace of mind knowing they’re receiving a safe, high-quality product backed by love, care and the highest standards in mind. When it came to thinking of the perfect floral cupcake bakery name, not only are purple tulips my favorite flower, but they also represent a very special connection to my dad by honoring him, since he would buy me a bouquet of purple tulips every year for my birthday💜 (check out my purple tulip cupcake bouquet giveaway every April - his tradition that I now choose to carry on with you all🫶🏼) This brings me to now—Nov 2024— I’m so happy to be able to share my passion for baking and designing pretty and unique cupcakes with each of you, as I officially open up my home bakery: The Purple Tulip🧁
