This smashing success, inspired by the viral croissant sourdough trend (and my favorite cooking show host growing up), is a new kitchen staple!!
Each loaf has melted butter kneaded into the base, as well as tiny shards of butter laminated between layers during each step of the fermentation process. This produces an incredibly supple, delicate, buttery mouthfeel in every bite. The outside of the loaf becomes light and flaky like a traditional croissant.
Imagine a hybrid between a croissant, brioche, and classic rustic hearth bread.

Each loaf is made with organic flour blends, including 5-10% whole wheat. All loaves are baked in loaf pans and weigh 1000g pre-bake. A standard loaf gets 12 hearty, uniform slices with a thin and crisp crust.
