Because stressed is desserts spelled backwards! 🙃 We are a licenced cottage bakery in Rochester, MN that specializes in cake pops and mini desserts, and we like to keep things stress free! Try us out for a delicious treat, so satisfying, it might be therapy itself❤️
Sugar Therapy was born after nearly 20 years as a nurse—a career I truly adored. When chronic health challenges required me to step aside, I turned to baking as a way to stay positive and grounded. But not just baking—creating beautiful treats that bring joy.
I’ve been baking since childhood, thanks to a mom who gave me full independent access to the kitchen (starting around 10 years old). Alongside baking, creativity has always been part of who I am—art, painting, upcycling furniture, dollhouses, and design have long been an outlet for me. Combining that creative outlet with my love of baking felt natural, and Sugar Therapy came to life.
Since being featured in the Post Bulletin in February 2025, things have grown quickly and beautifully. I treat every order with the same care as if it were for my own special occasion—because at its heart, Sugar Therapy is about comfort, connection, and joy.
Capabilities & Pricing
All prices listed reflect standard or base designs, which typically include a candy coating and simple embellishments such as sprinkles. Many orders can be elevated with optional upgrades, including chocolate accents, specialty toppings, bows, gift packaging, or custom edible images (yes—those can include photos, faces, or personalized designs).
Everything shown on the menu is made in-house, and I’m always happy to consider custom requests, even if an item isn’t currently listed. For example, I’ve created custom mini cakes inspired by a customer’s childhood favorite 7-Up cake—projects like these are part of what I love most about this work.
Any custom order requires one dozen minimum to order. After that, any amount may be added.
Please note that my decorating style focuses on buttercream and candy-coated treats. I do not offer traditional royal-icing decorated sugar cookies.

Terms & Conditions
-Advance Notice: Please provide at least two (2) weeks’ notice for all orders to allow proper planning and preparation. -Rush Orders: Urgent requests within five (5) days of pickup, if approved, may incur a $20 rush fee. -Payment: Orders are not accepted or guaranteed until payment is received in full. -Cancellations: Orders may be canceled up to one month in advance. Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled date are not refunded, but the order may be rescheduled or converted to a credit for future use. -Refunds & Satisfaction: No refunds are issued once an order has been picked up. That said, your satisfaction is very important to me. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss a resolution. -Cottage Food Notice: All items are homemade and not subject to state inspection. -Allergen Information: Products are made in a home kitchen that may have contact with wheat, eggs, dairy, nuts, and soy.
