Terms and Conditions for Sugar Bombs Cakery LLC Welcome to Sugar Bombs Cakery! Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making your initial deposit. By making your deposit with us you agree to be bound by these Terms. 1.Non-Refundable Deposit A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order. This deposit must be paid within 48 hours of receiving your invoice to confirm your order. The remaining balance is due upon pick-up of your order or 24 hours prior to your scheduled delivery. 2. Cancellation Policy Cancellations by Customer: If you need to cancel your order, you must notify Sugar Bombs Cakery LLC at least 72 hours before the scheduled pick-up or delivery date. The 50% deposit is non-refundable. If the order was paid in full a partial refund can be made or can be held as a credit to be used toward a future order minus any supplies or ingredients that cannot be repurposed. Cancellations by Sugar Bombs Cakery LLC: We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unforeseen circumstances. (i.e. death, acts of nature, accidents, etc.) In such cases, we will provide a full refund of any payments made. And try to assist you with getting your order in with another baker within our cake community if a referral is needed. 3. Customer Complaints and Refunds Complaints: We put a lot of time and effort into the details of all our orders to provide our customers with delicious and amazing looking cakes and treats. Our hope is to never have a complaint, but we know no one can be perfect. If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pick-up or delivery so we may address the issue promptly and efficiently. Refunds: Partial refunds are at the discretion of Sugar Bombs Cakery LLC and will only be considered for valid complaints. The 50% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. 4. Delivery and Pick-Up Delivery: Delivery is an option when there is availability in our schedule. Delivery service consists of areas in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia), but are limited to a 60-mile radius. Delivery charges will be applied based on the distance from our base location in Odenton, MD to the delivery location. The base fee is $2.50 per mile. All pertinent delivery details must be provided during the initial order inquiry. Additional Delivery Fees: Paid parking, tolls, after business hours delivery, holidays, and/ or the need for additional personnel to perform the delivery will incur added fees to the base delivery charge. Balance Payments for Delivery: The remaining balance for any delivery order is due a full 24 hours before the delivery is performed. If payment is not received, the delivery will be canceled, and the order will have to be picked up from our Odenton location. Day of Delivery: The customer agrees to ensure that the delivery site or receiver of delivery is fully prepared to receive the delivery at the appointed time. If the delivery site is not ready, or the designated recipient is not present or access to the site is restricted, the customer will be responsible for paying a delay fee due to the order being undeliverable during the agreed upon delivery window. Notification of changes to delivery: The customer must notify Sugar Bombs Cakery LLC at least 1 hour in advance if there are any changes or potential issues with site readiness. Failure to do so may result in additional charges. Liability: Sugar Bombs Cakery LLC is not liable for any damage to delivered order once it has been set up or given to the delivery recipient. Pick-Up: Orders can be picked up from our location at 757 Waugh Chapel Rd, Odenton, Md 21113. Please arrive at the agreed-upon time to collect your order. If you or your representative are running behind, please contact Sugar Bombs Cakery at least 30 minutes before the scheduled pick-up appointment to avoid incurring a late fee. Pick-up appointments consist of 30-minute windows of time (ex. 11:30am-12:00pm), this means you should arrive within the 30-minute window; failure to do so is considered arriving late. Late Arrival for Pick-Up: A late fee of $15 will be charged if you or your representative are more than 30 minutes late for your scheduled pick-up. Your order will not be handed over until the fee is paid. To avoid a fee good communication is required, call or text at least 30 minutes before your pickup to inform Sugar Bombs Cakery LLC of your tardiness and we can make sure that your new arrival time will be available or if we need to reschedule due to schedule conflict. 5. Order Care and Customer Responsibility Order Care: We take great care to ensure the quality and safety of our products. Once the order has been delivered or picked up, it is the customer’s responsibility to handle and store the products appropriately. Customer Responsibility: Sugar Bombs Cakery LLC is not liable for any damage or loss that occurs after the order has been delivered or picked up. Please follow our instructions for the proper care and handling of your order. 6. Order Changes Order Changes: Any changes to the customer’s order must be provided at least 7 days before the order’s due date. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but we cannot guarantee all requests will be fulfilled. 7. Changes to Terms and Conditions Sugar Bombs Cakery LLC reserves the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately. By placing an order with Sugar Bombs Cakery LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
