Orders can be placed through our website by Wednesday at 11:59 PM MST for weekend delivery or shipment. After the order window closes, we bake everything fresh for the weekend.
Where do you deliver?
We offer free local delivery within Farmington, NM on Saturday and Sunday mornings only. We’ll coordinate with you to ensure a smooth and contactless drop-off.
Do you offer shipping?
Yes. We offer shipping within New Mexico and take care to package your treats so they arrive fresh and ready to enjoy. Orders for shipping are baked alongside our weekend orders and typically ship out on Mondays to avoid delays in transit over the weekend. If Monday is a federal holiday, your order will ship the following business day.
Can I make special requests or customize an order?
We’re happy to accommodate custom requests when possible, including rush orders or special bundles. For anything outside of our weekly offerings, just send us an email at scrumptious@seedandscone.com and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
Do you offer wholesale or resale options?
No, we do not offer wholesale or resale. Under New Mexico’s Homemade Food Act, we’re not permitted to sell our products through other vendors. That said, if you’re planning a craft fair, market, or community event and think we’d be a good fit, we’d love to connect! You can reach us at scrumptious@seedandscone.com.
Do you offer gluten-free options?
We do. We offer a variety of gluten-free* treats made with gluten-free ingredients and lots of love. Just keep in mind they’re prepared in a home kitchen that also processes wheat.
*A note about gluten-free items: Customers are asked to acknowledge a disclaimer at checkout.
Are your products vegan-friendly?
Yes. All Seed & Scone items are 100% plant-based, which means they’re both vegetarian and vegan friendly. We don’t bake with any dairy, eggs, or animal-based products — just thoughtfully chosen ingredients baked with care.
What are your seasonal hampers?
In the U.S., the word hamper often refers to a laundry basket, but in Scottish tradition, a hamper is a parcel of thoughtfully gathered provisions, usually shared to offer comfort, mark a season, or celebrate a special occasion. Rooted in the spirit of Scottish hospitality, our hampers reflect that older meaning. Each one is a curated bundle of plant-based bakes, made for slow weekend brunches or stocking your cupboard with cozy treats for the week.
How are items packaged?
All orders come in a pastry box, and most items are individually wrapped to help maintain freshness at room temperature. This also makes it easy to take treats to work, pack them into lunches, or enjoy them one at a time throughout the week. The exception is our cinnamon rolls, which are packed together in the box. We recommend transferring them to an airtight container if you’re not enjoying them right away.
Can you package items for longer storage?
Yes. While our products are shelf stable, baked goods are best enjoyed within 3 to 5 days for optimal freshness. If you’d like your order prepped for freezing or longer-term storage, just let us know when ordering and we’ll package it with that in mind.
How should I store or reheat my baked goods?
Most items do best at room temperature on the counter and are best enjoyed within 3 to 5 days. To keep your pastries fresh, avoid placing them in direct sunlight or leaving them in a hot car, as heat can affect both texture and flavor. We don’t recommend refrigerating baked goods, since it tends to dry them out. Freezing is a better option if you’d like to save items for later — just let us know when you order and we’ll package them accordingly.
Are your products made in a licensed kitchen?
We operate under New Mexico’s Homemade Food Act, which allows us to sell homemade goods from our home kitchen. Our kitchen is not inspected by the state and also processes common allergens. We are registered with the City of Farmington and food safety certified. Customers will be asked to acknowledge our terms and conditions before placing an order.
