Welcome to 𝓢𝓪𝓿𝓪𝓷𝓷𝓪𝓱’𝓼 𝓒𝓪𝓴𝓮𝓼 & 𝓒𝓸𝓸𝓴𝓲𝓮𝓼— a registered cottage home bakery. I’m Savannah Carter— the owner, baker, and artist! I specialize in decorated buttercream cakes, cupcakes, royal icing decorated sugar cookies, cake pops, cookie cakes, & more!

𝔸𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕄𝕖:

I’ve always been an artsy person but thanks to my mom for having the tradition to always allow us to help bake our own birthday cakes growing up, I found that I had a love and talent for baking as well as decorating. In my teenage years, I eventually started baking for family which further grew my skills and interest in the art behind it all. In 2013 I got married and moved to Birmingham with my husband. Since then, we have welcomed two beautiful children to our family. I started adventuring into decorated sugar cookies in 2020 and I quickly came to realize the skill and time that goes into creating them! It challenged me to want to learn more and keep practicing with decorated cookies and decorated cakes. Baking had only been a hobby of mine for family and friends until the last few years. I started getting busier baking for more people and have stayed busy ever since. To realize that people like my work and choose me over other bakers in my area, is an indescribable feeling. I appreciate it and I feel very honored. I’m completely self taught and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made as a cake and cookie artist even if it seems minimal compared to other people within this artistry. Taking care of my home and family is my full time job but being able to bake for people along the journey keeps me feeling like there’s more to me than motherhood and caretaking.. Of course, I am very blessed and wouldn’t trade any of that for ANYTHING but if you’re a stay at home mom like myself, you understand my heart. You can loose yourself sometimes and those little parts of you that make you YOU outside of children and relationships.

As time has progressed, l've really just come to realize the importance of displaying to our children to do the things they love and to not be afraid to try even when the dream seems unachievable. For me, it was easy to get caught up in the chaos of life and push aside the gifts and talents God has blessed me with. It’s been a challenge to balance it all but at the same time, it’s been rewarding. Being able to create something that will be a part of someone's special day or celebration means quite a lot to me! Who knows, one day my in home bakery may evolve into something even bigger. But for now, I appreciate each and everyone who has supported me and allowed me to keep my dream going!

*Baked goods are prepared in a kitchen that handles common food allergens and is not inspected by the Alabama department of Public Health.*

All custom inquiries need to be requested at least 3-6 weeks in advance.

Please allow 24-48 hours for me to respond to order requests.

••••DEPOSITS & RUSH FEE••••

Due to limited availability, orders are NOT secured on my schedule until a deposit/ advance is received. All order's under $75 and all rush orders require a 100% advance of the total invoice. All other orders over $75, require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Any unpaid deposit or advance will be subject to order cancellation after 48 hours of me accepting the order request (12 hours for rush orders). If you wish to pay the full invoice amount, you may do that in one transaction.

Rush Fees applied will depend on the quantity, size, and complexity of the requested order*

$10-$40+ FEE— Cookie orders placed within 7 days from the due date.

$10-$40+ FEE— Cake, cupcake, cake pop, or cookie cake orders placed within 5 days from the due date.

$10-$25+ — All other treat orders placed within 5 days of the due date.

All pricing for custom baked goods are based on design complexity, design enhancements, additional ingredients, and edible or non edible decorations.

Decorated sugar cookies pricing varies depending on design intricacy, icing color quantities, cookie size, and use of decorations or metallic.

I offer several options but require a minimum order of one dozen.

My most popular option are my “Detailed Standard Size” custom cookies ranging from $65-$74 per dozen.

I offer FREE pick up at:

• Target HWY 280 (4616 US-280, Birmingham, AL 35242)

I offer delivery within a certain radius at an additional cost.
