Polly's Daily Bread

Born and raised in Nome, Alaska, Polly Carter grew up in a world where food was survival and tradition. As an Inupiaq Eskimo, she learned early to fish, forage, can, and bake, carrying forward the sourdough tradition passed down from her mother. With only two supply barges arriving each year, bread wasn’t bought—it was made by hand.

Today, that same heritage inspires Polly’s passion for baking. She creates artisan sourdough loaves with ingredients you can pronounce—no preservatives, no shortcuts, just wholesome goodness. For Polly, baking is more than bread. It’s legacy, it’s love, and it’s her way of sharing the flavors of her heritage with every table she serves.
