1. How far in advance should I order my cake?
We recommend placing your order at least 2 weeks in advance for celebration cakes, and 3–6 months for wedding cakes. All other bakes I recommend a week to allow time to order personalised toppers if required. This ensures we can secure your date and discuss your design in detail.
⸻
2. Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required 1 week prior to your collection date. The remaining balance is due the morning of collection and must be received prior to collecting your baked goods.
For wedding cakes a 50% deposit is due at the time of order and remaining balance is due 1 week prior to collection, as I know the week of your wedding you will have a lot of exciting prep to do.

3. How do I store my cake?
All of our cakes are filled and covered with buttercream, so they must be stored in the fridge.
• Keep your cake in its box until serving.
• Remove from the fridge 30–60 minutes before eating so the buttercream softens.
• Avoid leaving your cake out for more than 2 hours.
⸻
4. Can I travel with my cake?
Yes, but we recommend transporting your cake on a flat surface in the car boot/foot well, with the air conditioning on in warm weather. Avoid placing it on a seat or holding it in your lap.

5. Do you cater for allergies?
Unfortunately this isn’t something I can currently cater for with working in my home kitchen. However this is certainly something I look to be able to do in the future.
⸻
6. Do you offer delivery?
Yes! Delivery fees are based on mileage from my kitchen. We’ll confirm the cost when booking. Collection is also available by appointment.
⸻
7. What happens if I need to cancel my order?
If you cancel after paying your deposit, the deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel within 7 days of your collection/delivery date, the full balance will be due as your cake will already be in production.
