Every item I’ve baked from you has been the best that I’ve ever had. The brownies were good enough to be at a Michelin star restaurant. The pancakes killed any other pancake place I’ve ever been to. I have yet to make the biscuits, which I think I’ll make today

I first met Leigh over a year ago taking her sourdough bread class. Over the past year I can say I became a customer. What drew me in was the experience of taking a class then exploring her other products. I’m a huge lover of her sourdough cinnamon raisin bread, it’s delicious. I have tried her eggs, honey, and most of her mixes. The scone, brownie, cornbread are so well putt together and packaged it literally takes no time to get them in the oven and baked. I have the pancake, pumpkin bread and biscuit waiting to be baked and if they are anything like her others that I’ve tried I know they will be delicious. Leigh is such a sweet person a mom and wife who takes pride in her products. I love driving out to the farm stand and picking up my goodies.

Absolutely delicious! Both the sourdough and focaccia bread were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The sourdough had the perfect balance of a crispy, golden crust and a soft, chewy center with that wonderful tangy flavor. The focaccia was light, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned, with a delicious texture and amazing flavor in every bite. You can truly taste the care and quality that went into making both. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be ordering again!

Absolutely love Oak n Egg! You can tell how much care goes into their products. Our favorites are their pancake and biscuit mixes both are so delicious.. Highly recommend checking them out!

We made the sourdough biscuit mix and my kids and husband could not stop raving about them! They are flaky and buttery and so flavorful. You can taste the quality. As a mom I love the clean, high quality ingredients, no seed oils, and the ease of throwing these together for a quick homemade meal before soccer practice. I will be stocking up! Along with an inviting atmosphere we were greeted with the delightful aroma of freshly baked bread to sample. Leigh was not only a master baker but also a knowledgeable teacher who guided us through the process of sourdough fermentation. I appreciated how she explained the science behind sourdough - the magical role of yeast and bacteria. The small, intimate class setting (8 bread bakers) was well structured with hands-on practice and step-by-step guidance. It was fun to chat with the other participants over our shared love of learning and baking. The highlight of the class was taking home dehydrated starter, tools to create and start baking my own bread at home, and two loaves of bread to pop into my oven. I recommend Leigh's class! They came out so so delicious. My husband they were short from perfection! Once I cut through them I knew they were going to be good just by the texture. Amazing, really.

I have been wanting to take a sourdough class for a long time as I need hands on and visual learning. I'm so glad I found one of the best to learn from! Leigh's class was amazing! Such a lovely setting and her delivery of information was just what I needed. She provides step by step instruction and I have all the tools necessary to be successful. Such a fun class.

I am very new to sourdough baking and wanted to take a hands-on class to immerse myself and learn all the basics of sourdough bread. This class was really fun, relaxed and informative. The instructor, Leigh, is wealth of knowledge and a great teacher! I purchased the tool kit as well which I highly recommend. Leigh gives a literal step by step guide for the entire process and you get to take home starter and doughs for proofing and baking at home. I definitely got my money’s worth and I highly recommend this class if you’re new to sourdough or would like a hands-on or in depth lesson on the entire process! Also fun to take a friend or family member!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience taking a sourdough bread class with Leigh. She is incredibly knowledgeable and explains each step of the process in a way that’s easy to understand, whether you’re a complete beginner or have some baking experience. Her teaching style is engaging, relaxed, and encouraging, which makes the class both educational and fun. If you are in the Christian Valley area I would recommend her beautiful farm stand with fresh eggs, honey, and sourdough mixes!

Attended a Sourdough Class with Leigh and she did not disappoint! Leigh is an excellent teacher - spoke clearly, created a safe environment for questions, and her knowledge about the sourdough process was top notch. Would highly recommend! No knowledge necessary ahead of time and you leave with lots of resources to help you be successful.

These pancakes have a great flavor and texture. I normally never eat pancakes without syrup, but we were out, and they tasted delicious with just butter on top. I don’t normally do breakfast carbs, but I’ll make an exception for these!

Great flavor- they taste fresh and have a super fluffy consistency. It’s nice to have the mix on hand, and I can just whip up a few before a run as fuel. You don’t even need a topping because they are so flavorful!

I made these biscuits for a Sunday breakfast for my family. They were a perfect consistency and a delightful treat with butter and jam.

This is one of those foundational bread baking skills that you’ll keep growing and adding to. But you’ve got to get the basics down right and Layla’s class is the perfect place to start. Her hands on class is clear, organized, and straight forward. You go home armed with hands on experience, detailed worksheets, and you can always check out her library of YouTube and Instagram videos to jog your memory. If you are nervous or don’t think you can do it, she’ll put you at ease and help you through. Highly recommend!

Oak-n-egg has the most wonderful sourdough pancake mix that i've ever tried. I picked up a package while I was at Ikedas in Auburn. I was in the gold rush country, visiting a friend. And I wanted to take some gifts back home . I made the Pancake mix for the morning of Thanksgiving day. Wow it a crowd pleaser. The best pancake mix i've ever had. I can't wait to try her cornbread mix next.!
