A sweet and savory Palestinian dessert made with kataifi (shredded phyllo dough), mozzarella or ricotta and Nabusli or Akawi cheeses, baked with rich ghee, and topped with a rosewater simple syrup. Garnished with pistachio and rose petals. I was the winner of the Jericho Friendship City event kunafa contest chosen by Albuquerque Mayor Keller. 9 in diameter, feeds 8-10 people.
