What are some ways to store sourdough?
1. In Colorado your sourdough can stay good for an average of about 5 to 7 days. However, it will stay the freshest around 3 days. So, the sooner you can use it up the better!
2. Store your bread in a cool, dry place in our bread bag.
3. You can place it in a bowl and cover and seal with a beeswax wrap.
4.Slice and freeze it in a ZipLock bag.
How to refresh a frozen sourdough loaf?
1. Take it out of the freezer and thaw for a couple of hours.
2. Put the loaf under running water for 5-10 seconds with the crust on top.
3. Bake in an oven at 350 F for 10-15 minutes.
