🍞Artisan Sourdough is a homemade bread that is made using a fermentation process of flour and water. To make a loaf of bread it takes two days which includes planning when feeding the sourdough starter, hours of bulk fermenting and hours of cold proofing before artistically shaping, scoring and baking. Please have consideration for the time and effort it requires to create homemade sourdough baked goods when viewing the prices of Hearthside Cottage Bakery. Creating sourdough is more than just baking food, it’s an art, it’s a labor of love and it’s a shared gift of nurturing nutrition from one person to another.
