Hi, I’m Kayla- the hands behind Heart and Home. What started as a desire to learn to make bread for my home, has turned into a small business- something I never imagined for myself! Previously, I got a degree in Midwifery, so I guess you can say I love old traditions. Serving my community means a lot to me, and now that life has pulled me in a new direction, I have found there is something special about seeing how much joy homemade baked goods can bring a person. I hope to continue sharing this small amount of happiness.

When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m usually outside, spending time in our quiet backyard sanctuary. Unless it’s winter—then you’ll find me huddled under ten blankets beside the wood stove. I love spending time with my husband, Alex, and our super amazing dog, Griffin.
