It was such a pleasure to work with the bakery. The communication was quick and helpful. I only sent a few ideas, and they took that and blew me away with their creativity- truly works of art. But the best part…they were DELICIOUS! The almond flavoring was perfection, and the cookies were very fresh. I highly recommend Down South Sweets!

I ordered some Mardi Gras cookies for my daughter’s first birthday party and they were amazing! I had sent inspiration photos and she completely knocked it out of the park. The designs for the cookies were extremely detailed and were 10 times better than the inspiration photos sent! The cookies tasted amazing and were so soft! We had several family members tell us how they had never tasted good cookies like ours at a party. Highly recommend!

As a beginner, I walked away from the class feeling like I truly learned from Dionne and Emily thanks to their patience, encouragement, and the thoughtful teaching, guidance, and tips shared throughout the class. The small class size made it feel more like a one-on-one experience rather than a large group setting. The cookies were absolutely delicious, and the royal icing was nothing short of perfection. I’ll definitely be back for many more sessions!

Ordered birthday cookies for a special friend and they were fabulous, as usual. The color, design and custom cookies were perfect… beautiful and delicious.

Everything about this experience was wonderful! All necessary supplies were there, including an explanation of tools that I weren't familiar with & a little practice before hand. Dionne & her daughter made me feel so welcomed & comfortable. I had a lot of fun, would definitely recommend & would love to try more.

Your cookies cake pops and rice crispies stole the whole babyshower… the table was so beautiful everyone was talking about it I wish I can submit a picture cause it was sooooooo beautiful and the cookies were so good and moist I will def be ordering again!!!! Thank you soooooo much!!!!

I ordered these beautiful homemade cookies for Thanksgiving. The cookies were decorated perfectly and arrived all wrapped up and were easy to place out on our table for dessert. The pumpkin pie cookies were a hit at our dinner. All the individual cookies were great especially on ones that were handwritten on the top of the cookie. Everyone loved the taste of the sugar cookie and I would’ve definitely order other theme cookies again. Dionne was very easy to work with am glad I bought her cookies.
