Welcome to Dough Joe Bakery, your friendly neighborhood micro cottage bakery nestled in the heart of Northern Michigan, just outside Gaylord in Johannesburg.

We’re renowned for our specialty soft sourdough breads, mouthwatering cinnamon rolls, artisanal American Buttery Soft and Belgian-style pretzels, and our signature soft bagels, affectionately known as "Pragels."

We're excited to introduce our latest addition: New York style bagels! These bagels stay soft and chewy and come in a variety of delightful flavors, including the classic Everything, Sesame, Plain, Cheese and more.

Preorders and meet-ups are welcome at our cozy Bread Shed—come taste the difference homemade goodness makes! You can find us at the Bread Shed on the corner of the blinking light in Johannesburg; we’re open Thursdays and Fridays from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
