The cake turned out absolutely beautiful and was the highlight of the baby shower! Not only did it look incredible, but it tasted just as good. Everyone loved it. Nicki recently created an “Ella Umbrella” cake and mini cupcakes for my daughter’s fifth birthday. The cake and cupcakes were executed beautifully, and the umbrellas cascading down the cake were so creative and fun! The kids loved it, and the cake tasted amazing!! Would give ten stars if that was an option :)

The cake quality and design was excellent. I asked for a book cake for my wife's 50th birthday and was blown away by the detail and workmanship. Nicki was easy to work with and very accommodating with requests to make it personal and special. We received many compliments at the party. Will definitely use them in the future.

She has made two cakes for me so far and both have been incredible! The lemon curd Selena cake and the Bad Bunny red velvet were not only beautiful and exactly what I asked for, but they tasted amazing too. The lemon curd was fresh and flavorful, and the red velvet was moist and rich. She is reliable, talented, and so easy to work with. I’ll absolutely be back again and highly recommend her!

Nikki is absolutely fantastic. She communicated excellently and throughout the entire process she was attentive and curious about our vision for the cake as well as making sure everything was cohesive and well put together. Our 3 year old wanted a very realistic Chewbacca cake for her birthday. I reached out to Nicki and she was so sweet and accommodating, stating she was pretty booked for that week, but really wanted to make the cake so she’d squeeze us in. And my goodness, she did not disappoint. She made the coolest, most realistic, 3D Chewbacca cake. We were so blown away by her work that I’m still talking about how cool it was daily. Not only was the design top notch, but the cake itself was absolutely delicious. She communicated with us throughout the whole process and was super flexible with the pickup arrangements. We had a VERY excited birthday girl and we couldn’t be happier. We will DEFINITELY be returning to her in the future!!

We could not be happier with our wedding cake and cupcakes. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Nicki was incredibly communicative, friendly, and genuinely helpful, offering thoughtful suggestions when I wasn't sure what to order. We had a last-minute request to add cupcakes, and she accommodated it seamlessly without any stress or hesitation. Everything looked beautiful, tasted amazing, and was exactly what we asked for. This is my second time ordering from Nicki and she knocked it out of the park! Minecraft cakes can be a lot of squares….a lot! But her attention to detail is amazing and my son was both surprised and amazed! Will definitely be back for next years cake…hopefully something other than Minecraft ;)

The topers on my cupcakes were absolutely stunning! Colorful and fun and spot-on the art of the theme. The cupcakes were tasty and the options for flavors were great but frankly unfair. I wanted so many of them and choosing was HARD. Nicki was very flexible and creative. Also, she gave me great instructions for storing and serving to optimize the yumminess. Overall a fantastic experience!

I contacted Nicki and requested a cake with an Elvis theme. With extremely little input she ran with it. What we received was unbelievably awesome. The whole thing was edible?! My wife loved it. She showed all her family and friends who loved it as well. Because of Nicki’s awesome creativity I am the best husband ever. I would do it again!

For my 50th birthday, I decided to order a custom cake. It is the first time I have ever done it. Part of me wished I had never waited so long to do this for myself, part of me believes the universe was waiting for me to find Designed Delights. I honestly cannot imagine anyone being able to create something more perfect for my 50th celebration. The decorations were STUNNING. The ordering process was easy. The entire experience was top tier. (Pun intended! ;) ) Those who know me best will confirm that I am a cake snob when it comes to flavor. I always say that life is too short to eat bad cake. This cake and the mini cupcakes did not disappoint. Everything was so delicious! You could taste that the ingredients were fresh and great quality. While we were all sad to cut into this gorgeous cake, we were really glad we did! Thank you for creating the perfect cake for me and for being so kind and professional throughout the entire process. I asked for a very specific themed cake for my husband's retirement, and Designed Delights delivered! To celebrate his retirement and highlight our future travels to the mountains and beaches, she gave us both in a beautiful scene. The details on the mountains and waves of the beach were incredible. The rich dark chocolate cake, with the creamy frosting brought it all together. I will be ordering more cakes for sure!

Nicki worked with me for months to help design a cake to surprise my husband. It was beautiful but also delicious. I don't even like buttercream but the peanut butter buttercream was delicious. I cannot recommend her enough.

I can not express the gratitude I feel for Nicki! Never could I have dreamt up a more show stopping cake! The cake itself was incredible (one tier strawberry, one funfetti) both absolutely delicious!! I want to emphasize that the strawberry cake was the best I’d ever had!! It was shocking how tolerable the sweetness level was considering how much icing was used throughout but it was amazing all around!! The molding skills truly second to none!! As always the cupcakes were delicious! The cake portion is always so light and delicious and was even able to accommodate a special request for lighter icing since my little prefers that way. The designs were adorable and all the kids loved picking a character to match their goody bags.

This is hands down the best cake I've ever eaten in my entire life. Not only was the craftsmanship so gorgeous that I didn't want to ruin the cake, it was unbelievably delicious and I could easily eat this every single meal for the rest of my life. Nicki is a master of her craft - she is so detailed and thoughtful when it comes to the design, it was such a pleasure to work with her on a uniquely creative idea for my husband's birthday. She went above and beyond as far as design goes when it came to the actual idea for the cake. All her ingredients are fresh and it REALLY showed when we actually ate the cake. Every single person at the party went back for seconds which I feel is rare for desserts. I will definitely be using Designed Delights again in the future and I will be dreaming about this cake for all of my days!!!!!

I contacted Nikki about creating a Lego cake for an adult who still feels like a kid. The brief I gave her was super difficult - create something reminiscent of a children's toy (calm down, I know that's debatable), but upscale and sophisticated for an adult. Look online - nothing like that existed before September 2025. It's all primary colors and designed for 6 year olds. With zero base to work from and minimal advice from me HOLY SH*T did she deliver. The cake looked 100% like it was made of Lego, down to the bright green Lego plate base. And the best part???? The cake and frosting were delicious. Not like, oh, that's tasty, but like, oh, I would drive across a state line to get this DIVINE slice. I intentionally froze half the cake to enjoy it again later. 5+ stars, would order again. And again. And again.

Design delights was amazing and easy to work with. Placing the order using her online form was simple and Nicki reached out quickly with any clarifying questions for my order. She delivered on time and was sure to provide me clear instructions to ensure the cake was at its best when being consumed the next day. We have used Nicki for multiple birthday cakes, and she never disappoints. This last cake was to create a cake designed as my son's favorite watch. Her attention to detail is like nothing I've ever seen. The watch band had the little stitches in it, the cake face was amazing, and she made sure to show it was 11 o'clock since my son turned 11. But a cake can look great and not be great tasting - NOT a problem with Nicki's cake. It was moist and the raspberry filling was a perfect compliment to the chocolate. I asked for a touch of almond taste and it was there - subtle and perfect. I really can't say enough good things about Nicki and her work. Hmmm, if I have to complain - maybe she makes any future cakes I make look bad because hers are so good! :)

I had Nikki make a cake for my daughter's 16th birthday. I came with ideas, and knew Nikki would be able to create a masterpiece! My daughter loves white cake, and I am more of a chocolate fan... But this cake could make even a diehard chocolate lover switch teams. The cake was Vanilla, with Italian creme frosting. It was a beautiful beach design with a playful Octopus on top (Nikki blended elegant and playful perfectly... just right for my daughter who is growing up way too fast!) My husband and I got our wedding cake here. Despite it being an unconventional design and her first time doing a wedding cake it turned out amazing. I will admit I would have preferred 1 or 2 more check ins about the progress of the cake, but she was very thorough and patient with me during the initial detail collection phase. Over all I am very satisfied with the product and my experience.

We were able to set up a call to go over everything and she was super friendly and awesome to work with on our cake. Since she is the cake expert she was able to help guide me on what options that I had based on headcount and what could work better than other options. When we picked up the cake, she wrapped it and secured the cake flawlessly so I wasn't worried about it falling over or getting damaged on our drive back home. She gave us a thorough explanation as well on what to do with the cake before our event. The cake was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!! These cupcakes were as beautiful as they were good tasting. They were just like little mini pieces of art. I ordered two dozen regular and one dozen mini. Half chocolate, half vanilla with buttercream frosting. I will be using her again for future events.
