We had a weird theme this year or should i say two. We were celebrating her diamond year which is her being born in 2013 and turning 13. Thats whats she says🙄. So we did her favorite show jujitsu kaisen and hello kitty which is her trendiness for now. Plus we dis this anime bakeoff. Nikki tied all these themes into this cake perfectly and when unboxing it my daughter expression was priceless. Couldnt ask for anyone better as a trustworthy baker. Thank you Nikki

This is my second time ordering a cake from Nicki. She made my son’s 1st birthday cake and smash cake. The details were amazing and more importantly the cake tasted so good and moist. I’ve thought about that cake weekly for a year and knew i had to re order. It’s the only thing i splurged on for my son’s 2nd birthday. The 2nd bday cake was amazing as well!! So much thought went into it and my son couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw it. can’t wait to order next year again. Thanks for making these amazing cakes.

I threw my 2 year old a Bear in The Big Blue House themed party. I wanted an extravagant but 90’s- early 2000’s vibe to the cake. I sent my inspo pictures to Nicki and she brought my vision to life and then some. I couldn’t have been happier with the end result and it was a HUGE hit at my son’s birthday party. Absolutely stunning are the words that I will use to describe the cake that Designed Delights created for our daughter’s wedding! We loved our Jurassic Park themed cake! The flavor was delicious and our 5 year old was so excited when he saw it. I’ll definitely be back for future big birthdays!

This cake came out better than I could have imagined. Provided Nikki with a photo of what I was thinking with some ideas and she took those and ran! It came out amazing! The birthday girl was over the moon at the details and how much she felt the cake embodied her personality so well. It was delicious and super moist! I’m not even a fan of lemon, but that lemon curd was excellent!!

Nicki was a dream to work with on this incredible cake journey, from beginning to end. She was super professional and incredibly friendly and informative. I came to her with a vision, based on my wedding theme, and sent just a few inspiration pictures. I talked to her about symbolism and colors I'd like to incorporate, but gave her the freedom to work up a design of her own. We were absolutely blown away by the final product, as were all of our guests!! Talk about meticulous attention to detail. Everything was exquisitely hand-crafted, and it was easy to see that a ton of time and care was put into bringing this vision to life for us. I thoroughly enjoyed corresponding with Nicki throughout the creation process. She offered tons of insight, input and advice on cake size and flavors, even instructions on how to carefully transport our "baby" to the venue, plus detailed instructions on how to cut and serve it. Our cake was beautiful and delicious!!! We chose to do the year, 26, one was chocolate and the other was strawberry. Cake was a wonderful moist texture and the frosting was delicious---not too sweet. We’ve ordered cakes from Nikki multiple times, and we always opt for the chocolate flavor because my kids refuse to eat anything else. However, I’ve been wanting to try her other flavors to compare them, but I highly recommend the fruit filling; it was absolutely delicious. Unlike other cakes I’ve ordered from, which have dry textures despite impressive decorations, Nikki’s cakes are incredibly moist. Nicki recently created an “Ella Umbrella” cake and mini cupcakes for my daughter’s fifth birthday. The cake and cupcakes were executed beautifully, and the umbrellas cascading down the cake were so creative and fun! The kids loved it, and the cake tasted amazing!! The lemon curd Selena cake and the Bad Bunny red velvet were not only beautiful and exactly what I asked for, but they tasted amazing too. The topers on my cupcakes were absolutely stunning! Colorful and fun and spot-on the art of the theme. The cupcakes were tasty and the options for flavors were great but frankly unfair. I wanted so many of them and choosing was HARD. Nicki was very flexible and creative. Also, she gave me great instructions for storing and serving to optimize the yumminess. Overall a fantastic experience!

I contacted Nicki and requested a cake with an Elvis theme. With extremely little input she ran with it. What we received was unbelievably awesome. The whole thing was edible?! My wife loved it. For my 50th birthday, I decided to order a custom cake. It is the first time I have ever done it. To celebrate his retirement and highlight our future travels to the mountains and beaches, she gave us both in a beautiful scene. The details on the mountains and waves of the beach were incredible. The rich dark chocolate cake, with the creamy frosting brought it all together. I will be ordering more cakes for sure!

Nicki worked with me for months to help design a cake to surprise my husband. It was beautiful but also delicious. I don't even like buttercream but the peanut butter buttercream was delicious. I cannot recommend her enough.

This is hands down the best cake I've ever eaten in my entire life. Not only was the craftsmanship so gorgeous that I didn't want to ruin the cake, it was unbelievably delicious and I could easily eat this every single meal for the rest of my life. Nicki is a master of her craft - she is so detailed and thoughtful when it comes to the design, it was such a pleasure to work with her on a uniquely creative idea for my husband's birthday. She went above and beyond as far as design goes when it came to the actual idea for the cake. All her ingredients are fresh and it REALLY showed when we actually ate the cake. Every single person at the party went back for seconds which I feel is rare for desserts. I will definitely be using Designed Delights again in the future and I will be dreaming about this cake for all of my days!!!!!

As always the cupcakes were delicious! The cake portion is always so light and delicious and was even able to accommodate a special request for lighter icing since my little prefers that way. The designs were adorable and all the kids loved picking a character to match their goody bags.

I contacted Nikki about creating a Lego cake for an adult who still feels like a kid. The brief I gave her was super difficult - create something reminiscent of a children's toy (calm down, I know that's debatable), but upscale and sophisticated for an adult. Look online - nothing like that existed before September 2025. It's all primary colors and designed for 6 year olds. With zero base to work from and minimal advice from me HOLY SH*T did she deliver. The cake looked 100% like it was made of Lego, down to the bright green Lego plate base. And the best part???? The cake and frosting were delicious. Not like, oh, that's tasty, but like, oh, I would drive across a state line to get this DIVINE slice. I intentionally froze half the cake to enjoy it again later. 5+ stars, would order again. And again. And again.

We have used Nicki for multiple birthday cakes, and she never disappoints. This last cake was to create a cake designed as my son's favorite watch. Her attention to detail is like nothing I've ever seen. The watch band had the little stitches in it, the cake face was amazing, and she made sure to show it was 11 o'clock since my son turned 11. But a cake can look great and not be great tasting - NOT a problem with Nicki's cake. It was moist and the raspberry filling was a perfect compliment to the chocolate. I asked for a touch of almond taste and it was there - subtle and perfect. I really can't say enough good things about Nicki and her work. Hmmm, if I have to complain - maybe she makes any future cakes I make look bad because hers are so good! :)

I had Nikki make a cake for my daughter's 16th birthday. I came with ideas, and knew Nikki would be able to create a masterpiece! My daughter loves white cake, and I am more of a chocolate fan... But this cake could make even a diehard chocolate lover switch teams. The cake was Vanilla, with Italian creme frosting. It was a beautiful beach design with a playful Octopus on top (Nikki blended elegant and playful perfectly... just right for my daughter who is growing up way too fast!) I chose Nicki from a random fb post that wasn't even related to cakes. I contacted her to make a wedding cake for my best friend. Nicki was easy to work with in coming up with a design that fit the bride and groom. She nailed it! The cake and delivery were reasonably priced.

Nicki baked a cake for my son’s b-day. The ask: simple cake, cookies and cream, no worries.. he is not picky :) The result: beautifully decorated cake with cookies and cream on the top, happy birthday sign and more! The cake was absolutely delicious as everything she bakes and gorgeous! 100% recommended!

I had my grandson's 1st birthday cake and smash cake made by Design Delights. They were, by far, the best cakes I have ever seen, and they tasted phenominal!! The attention to detail was magnificent! I have found my lifetime cake company!!

My husband and I got our wedding cake here. Despite it being an unconventional design and her first time doing a wedding cake it turned out amazing. I will admit I would have preferred 1 or 2 more check ins about the progress of the cake, but she was very thorough and patient with me during the initial detail collection phase. Over all I am very satisfied with the product and my experience.

Nicki was so wonderful to work with on our baby shower cake. I submitted a cake request within their website form and she responded back to be really quickly. We were able to set up a call to go over everything and she was super friendly and awesome to work with on our cake. Since she is the cake expert she was able to help guide me on what options that I had based on headcount and what could work better than other options. When we picked up the cake, she wrapped it and secured the cake flawlessly so I wasn't worried about it falling over or getting damaged on our drive back home. She gave us a thorough explanation as well on what to do with the cake before our event. The cake was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!! These cupcakes were as beautiful as they were good tasting. They were just like little mini pieces of art. I ordered two dozen regular and one dozen mini. Half chocolate, half vanilla with buttercream frosting. I will be using her again for future events.

I purchased this cake for my daughters birthday and was amazed at the artistic design of this purse cake. It actually looked like a very expensive leather purse. And then...we cut it. It was beautiful inside and the flavor and moistness was phenomenal. I will definitely be ordering my cakes from Designed Deights in the future.
