Designed Delights

My name is Nicki Ward, and I'm the Creator and Designer behind Designed Delights. Designed Delights motto is that every cake is its own canvas, and I'm going to dare to be different. My background is in art and graphic design, and I look at each cake as a unique opportunity to make a bold statement. Your idea and my creative mind will produce something that is truly unique for your special occasion. I try to make every part of the cake edible, if possible, by using fondant accents and handmade decorations and cake toppers when needed. If your occasion just calls for something simple and elegant or loud and bold; if you are looking for a true centerpiece for your party, please allow Designed Delights to create on your cake canvas for your next special occasion.

Deposit is 50% within 24 hours of confirmation of the quote. This saves your spot on my calendar and covers ingredient cost. The remainder is due the week of pickup/delivery.

The base pricing listed is the price of the cake before factoring in design, labor and complex flavors and fillings. Specialty cakes, decorating, custom cake toppers, flowers, fillings etc. are added to the cake base price and will be quoted on an individual basis.

Please note that serving size listed is approximate and based off of cutting the cake in a 1”x 2” - 1”x1” grid (party/wedding serving sizes), and tall cakes can be cut horizontally in half for more servings if desired.

Delivery MAY be available. Delivery costs will be separate from the cake and will be based on time, distance and tolls. The delivery cost is sixty five cents a mile, round trip, and the cost of tolls, round trip, and may also include an additional cost for time. I cannot guarantee that I will be available for delivery due to my baking schedule. Please inquire if needed.
