Refunds are available up to 24 hours after payment is accepted. After that time, we cannot offer refunds, as cutters, cookie dรฉcor, and supplies have likely already been orderedโbut the good news isโyouโll still get some super delicious treats! ๐
We want you to love your Blissful Delights. If you are not satisfied, please return all UNEATEN baked goods within 24 hours so we can assess and troubleshoot any issues. While a refund is not guaranteed, we will determine if a credit for a future order can be issued. ๐
Cancellations result in the full cost of the order being forfeited. Many items, ingredients, and supplies are already purchased (and often time has been spent shopping, preparing fillings, icings, and more!).
Additionally, your spot may have turned away other customers, and last-minute openings are very hard to fill. While we wish we could accommodate everyone, we need to be firm: no refunds for cancelled orders.
Pickup & delivery times are set when the order is placed.
Unless otherwise arranged, all orders are pickup only at our North Providence, RI location (details provided on your invoice).
For holidays or special events, designated bulk pickup dates/times will be providedโbe sure to mark your calendar! ๐
If the designated pickup date/time doesnโt work, we can usually accommodate a day or two before or after, depending on the baked goods.
Delivery within Rhode Island is available:
Within 5 miles: $5 delivery fee
Over 5 miles: $5 plus $1.25/mile
All decorated cookies are individually packaged and heat sealed in clear cellophane bags, keeping them fresh for up to 4 weeks at room temperature.
Delivery dates are estimates only, as we cannot control unforeseen delays from the delivery service.
Cookies are packaged with care to prevent breakage, but accidents can happen. Once handed over to USPS, we cannot be responsible for how packages are handled.
Orders will be shipped to the address provided at checkoutโplease double-check it, as the shipping label is printed directly from that information.
We are not responsible for damages during transit, including but not limited to broken, lost, or stolen packages, or heat/sun damage. ๐
Do not allow packages to sit in direct sunlight or heat for extended periods. Do not refrigerate cookies. For best results, keep cookies in their sealed bags at room temperature until your event.
For damage or lost claims, buyers should file a claim with USPS.
Rush orders require upgraded shipping, which will incur an additional shipping charge. โก

Keep them safe, keep them cool, and follow the care instructions provided to ensure your cookies stay as delicious and beautiful as intended. We cannot be held liable for any damage, mishandling, or spoilage after they leave our possession.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that you take sole responsibility for any allergies or dietary restrictions for yourself or your guests. You also release Blissful Delights By Vanessa (Blissful Delights RI) and Vanessa Vasquez from any liability related to the consumption of items received.
While an Ingredients Statement is provided with every order, including allergen information (e.g., โContains: Wheat, etc.โ), Blissful Delights cannot guarantee any item is 100% allergen-free. This includes, but is not limited to, wheat, dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, sesame, and other common or uncommon allergens, as cross-contamination is always possible in a home kitchen.
Blissful Delights By Vanessa reserves the right to use photographs, videos, and other content of custom orders for advertising purposes, unless otherwise requested and mutually agreed upon. All creations are photographed and shared on social media to showcase the work.
If customers prefer that their Blissful Delights not be featured, this should be communicated at the time of ordering. All requests will be respectedโyour secrets are safe!
Please note that photos may not always perfectly represent the final product, as colors and lighting can vary slightly in images compared to real life.
Payment secures a minimum order, which may be increased but cannot be decreased before the event date.
If there is a change in headcount after booking, customers should contact Blissful Delights By Vanessa to discuss available options.
Because supplies and ingredients are purchased in advance, refunds or discounts cannot be issued once payment is made. Additionally, certain changes to sizing, flavors, or decorations cannot be guaranteed after ingredients and supplies have been purchased.
To help bring your vision to life, please respond to communications within 4 hours whenever possible. If a timely response is not received, Blissful Delights By Vanessa may need to proceed based on the available information in order to complete all orders on scheduleโso donโt worry, weโll do our best, but we may have to โwing itโ! ๐๏ธ
If you have questions for us, please allow 2- 4 hours for a response, and refer to our hours of operation for guidance.
If you decide not to proceed with your order, please do us the courtesy of letting us know. Clients who are unresponsive or โghostโ communications in the lead-up to their event forfeit their date and any payments.

Baked goods are best enjoyed fresh! Not showing up at the agreed-upon pickup time without notice results in forfeiture of your order (no refund)โunless picked up by 8 PM on the scheduled pickup date.
If prior arrangements were made for a different pickup date, this policy applies only if you fail to show up at the new time.
But donโt worryโyour Blissful Delights will find a happy home! ๐ก They will be donated to a family in need so no cookie goes to waste. ๐
If pickup is impossible due to inclement weather, your order can be rescheduled for another day as outlined above. While refunds cannot be issued due to weather, every effort will be made to keep your order as fresh as possible.
In cases of severe weatherโincluding but not limited to hurricanes, blizzards, extreme heat, natural disasters, or โacts of GodโโBlissful Delights reserves the right to cancel orders within 48 hours of the event. Rescheduling is subject to availability and at the discretion of Blissful Delights.
Blissful Delights also reserves the right to refuse delivery in unsafe weather conditions. If the state is officially closed by the governor, no deliveries will be made.
As a licensed cottage baker and food handler, it is against the law to work while ill. Orders cannot be prepared until the baker has been symptom-free for at least 24 hours. This ensures the safety of you and your guests, protecting everyone from potential foodborne illnesses.
Emergencies can happen unexpectedly for the baker. In the rare event that Blissful Delights is unable to complete an order due to extreme illness, a major emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, customers will be notified as soon as possible. At that time, you may choose to either:
Receive a full refund, or
Reschedule your order for another date.
Serving safe, high-quality treats is a legal and moral obligation, and this policy ensures everyone stays healthy and happy! ๐
By submitting payment for an order, customers are automatically agreeing to all terms and conditions stated above.
