Hi there! I’m the face behind Baskets By Bug, a local young female-owned small business bringing smiles one sweet treat at a time. I specialize in chocolate-covered goodies and gift baskets for all occasions 🍓💖, from chocolate-covered strawberries and Rice Krispies treats to custom party boxes and breakable chocolate hearts.

I’m based on the Northside of Syracuse and proudly serve all surrounding areas 📌. Every treat and basket is made with love, care, and just the right amount of sparkle ✨.

A little about me:

I’m a fourth-semester college student studying Medical Assisting and I also work part-time while running my shop. I have a large blended family, an amazing boyfriend, and our cute 1 year old kitten Nala who keeps me company while I make all the treats 🐾.

When I’m not in school, at work, or making treats, you can find me brainstorming new creations, decorating baskets, or spending time with my wonderful family and Nala.

Welcome! I want to make sure every order is perfect and stress-free, so here’s all the info you need about ordering, payments, delivery, and care for your treats 🍓💖

🛒 Orders & Lead Time

No same-day orders. All orders must be placed at least 3 days in advance. This gives me time to make your treats just right.

Party boxes require a little extra planning and must be booked 2 weeks in advance.

When placing your order, please be as specific as possible. Details about flavors, basket style, decorations, or special requests help me make your order exactly how you want it.

I make chocolate-covered treats, including strawberries, Rice Krispies, Oreos, pretzels, marshmallows, cheesecake-filled cups and cones, breakable chocolates, and custom gift baskets for any occasion. If you don’t see something listed, just ask—I love creating custom orders!

💳 Deposits & Pricing

A 50% deposit is required once your order is confirmed. Your order will not be held without the deposit.

Please wait until your order is confirmed before sending the deposit.

Deposits are nonrefundable. This helps me manage materials and ensure your order is made just for you.

All prices listed are starting prices. Additional fees may apply depending on customizations, basket size, or extra decorations. I will always confirm pricing with you before finalizing your order.

📅 Pickup & Delivery

You will receive a text when your order is ready for pickup.

Delivery is available via Uber Connect. Customers are responsible for paying the delivery fee, which is set by Uber Connect based on location and other factors.

Pickup and delivery times are arranged during ordering. I do my best to accommodate your schedule, but planning ahead helps everything go smoothly.

🍓 Product Care & Allergies

Items like strawberries and cheesecake products should be eaten the same day for the best taste. If storing, keep them in the refrigerator for no longer than 2 days.

If you have allergies, please let me know at the time of ordering. I can make accommodations whenever possible to ensure your treats are safe and enjoyable.

I am not liable for what happens to the products after they are picked up or delivered. Once the treats are in your hands, they’re all yours to enjoy!
