Ordering with Isabel was straightforward, flexible, and convenient. She’s super open to ideas and is a great collaborator when it comes to design and flavors. The cake I received was well packaged and exactly as we discussed. The whole group loved the flavor (pistachio and cherry blossom) and the cake was gone within a few minutes.

Isabel is an absolute artist - she is super friendly and helpful and has helped create beautiful designs that really bring what I am looking for to life. Her cakes and cookies are so delicious and I love everything she does!

I truly can not recommend Isabel enough, in terms of both the process and quality of product. Having never worked with a baker on a custom order before, and wanting my girlfriend's birthday to go seamlessly, I was a bit hesitant. But after providing some guidance and sharing inspiration pictures, Isabel manifested my vision for the cake even better than I had imagined. I didn't make it easy for her. The cake my girlfriend wanted was vintage-inspired with a lot of decoration, requiring a great deal of skill in piping and overall design lay-out. Isabel executed seamlessly, and the taste was equally exceptional. The cake was perfectly moist and was balanced well with the pudding filling and ornate icing. I will absolutely be working with Isabel again and would happily recommend her to anyone!

I bought the cutest custom cookies from Isabel for my boyfriend's greencard party - she was able to do very personalized thoughtful designs, and they were so tasty (we did vanilla espresso *yum*). I've also had her lemon cookies and carrot cake which were phenomenal, and follow her closely for her other creations. Highly recommend!!

I originally found Baked by Isabel from my friend who follows her on Instagram. I wanted to buy local for the cake for my friend’s birthday because the birthday girl is a DC native. The birthday cake Isabel made was made exquisite. I don’t know how she creates the designs freehand like that. Since my first order, I’ve ordered two more - 2 dozen Halloween decorated sugar cookies and a several layer Reese’s chocolate cake - and they haven’t disappointed. Highly recommend!

Isabel can make the most basic flavor and elevate it so it’s unbelievable, while also being so creative with mixing flavors, spices, and presentation.

Isabel made me an absolutely stunning 3 layer 6 inch chocolate cake with chocolate icing and banana cream birthday cake to my exact specifications. She sent me a few reference photos and options for flavors and made an absolute masterpiece! I shared the cake with colleagues and they all came back for seconds. I'm going to savor the leftovers for myself as long as I can.

I asked Isabel to make my boyfriend (who doesn’t have a sweet tooth) four cupcakes for his birthday with dulce de leche icing and she absolutely nailed it! He loved them and they were so delicious I found myself eating more of them than he did!
