I can’t say enough about this DELICIOUS sourdough products by Layla. I purchased her whole wheat sandwich style sourdough,and chocolate chip cookies everything is great. I will be back next week, I am planning my preorder as I am typing this.

Layla does a great job and the bread is always amazing. We haven’t tried anything we don’t like yet. Our current favorite is the Calabrian Chili and cheddar, but it’s hard to go wrong with any of them. I also can’t really eat store bought bread without a stomach ache and that just doesn’t happen with this bread.

Layla is so friendly and fun to chat with! You can tell she loves her sourdough creations and wants her customers to love them just as much. I tried the black emmer sourdough loaf which was fantastic. Great flavor and texture, and it toasted up so nicely. The cinnamon rolls were not too sweet at all. It was such a nice change from store-bought cinnamon rolls. We loved them! Adding condensed milk to the cream cheese frosting was such a tasty addition. We can't wait to try more in the near future!

I bought my first loaf from Layla on Saturday. It was the Jalapeño Cheddar. My whole family agrees that it was the best flavored and textured sourdough we’ve ever had! We’re quite thrilled to have found her!

Layla is always so accommodating when I'm ordering my sourdough goodies! I can't get enough of the cheddar jalapeno loaf, especially toasted! And the cinnamon rolls! Omg, heaven! I wish I could comment on the cookies, but my brother ate all of them before I got to try any! So delicious and worth every penny, even more!

We tried four different things (cinnnamon rolls, sourdough, chocolate chip sourdough, and dark rye bread) and everything was amazing! As someone with a terrible sweet tooth who was recently told to "cut down on the sugar," it was great to revel in the cinnamon roll frosting that had no added sugar but still tasted wonderful. The car smelled so amazing as we drove home with our goodies....thanks, Layla, and we will be repeat customers!

I have had sourdough bread from all over Chicago. I’ve also tried in other cities, and this is the best sourdough I’ve ever had. Wonderful choices, the multigrain and the focaccia our favorites.!

Perfection. The thing that most supports my taste buds are the cinnamon rolls. Layla also accommodated me when it was by no means required. Buy anything right now and you will not regret it. Really an amazing part of the community.

I ordered the plain sourdough bread, and this was honestly the BEST sourdough I have ever had. My entire family loved it. We also had the chocolate chip cookies, which were absolutely delicious and satisfying. Thank you, Layla! I will definitely be placing more orders in the near future!

After seeing this small business on Next Door I placed an order. A loaf of Jalepano cheddar and a loaf of the cranberry. Both are absolutely delicious. Warm when I picked them up. Soft and chewy when we sliced into them. I will definitely order again.

I first met this fine young lady at the Barn Owl Garden Center on Gary at St. Charles Roads. Great personable follow through. Attractive packaging for this upscale bread product. Quite tasty with a pleasantly chewy bite. Wonderful Asiago cheese bits within the loaf. Yes, I will order again. Something different till I’ve tried it all. Got great supporting reviews from customers that came to the Barn to pick up their multiple orders. I’ll likely do the same as time goes by. Right now I’m looking to find my favorite. Outstanding bread

We've tried several of Layla's different loaves and we've loved them all. You can taste the quality in her products and they don't leave you feeling bloated like grocery store bread!

This bread is wonderful. May husband and I have gotten blueberry lemon and jalapeño cheddar cheese and they are both great tasting. We are going to try more flavors knowing that you can freeze the breads. Layla is a super nice and pleasant to deal with.

Russian Proverb I have purchased and enjoyed Layla’s Kalamata Olives Roasted Garlic Artisan Loaf and the Organic Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls. Both were excellent choices that my family enjoyed. I also enjoyed her Plain Sourdough loaf and Cinnamon Swirl Brown Sugar Raisin loaf. All of the loaves are golden-brown crust that's crispy and crackly. The inside of the bread is light, not too dense, slightly chewy, and bubbly, with an open, lacy crumb and a tangy flavor. Layla’s attention to detail - appearance and health - is fantastic. The cinnamon rolls come with her homemade delicious cream cheese frosting, ready to serve in a delightful presentation. I am looking forward to continuing to try other offerings as well as buying them as gifts for friends - a loving, tasty, healthy loaf of yummy bread.

Amazing product. You can tell and taste the difference between this bread and the other out there. My father in law just like myself have various diet restrictions. We haven’t had bread in years till Layla and her Artisan bread came along. My family and specifically our guts love this product.. thank you

I have purchased and enjoyed seven of Layla’s breads so far and intend to work my way through her entire repertoire, they are that good, and beautiful to behold as well! Most recently I purchased a rustic dark rye, cinnamon buns and a cinnamon swirl loaf; each unique and delicious. A favorite from a previous order is the rustic Cheddar/Jalapeno . I don’t think you can go wrong with any choice. Layla packages all with professional care. Shopping with her is a pleasure.

Best. Bread. Ever. I have had bad stomach problems that lead to so much bloating and uneasy feelings. I can eat a whole loaf and feel so light and have no problems. Life changing. It’s even better knowing how clean and simple all the ingredients are.

I personally never knew much about sourdough bread before trying Layla’s, but let me tell you it is delicious. She has so many flavors to choose from, that sometimes it’s hard to pick. I love how Layla shares the process of how she makes her sourdough and provides you with the benefits from eating sourdough. I know some of her customers could not enjoy bread due to gluten intolerance or other factors and now they can! I definitely recommend Artisan Sourdough Bread by Layla to anyone!
