I am grateful to know someone that is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that gluten free sweets does not leave a bad taste in your mouth nor mind! The first thing Monica put to the test for me was a gluten free pound cake. I was truly awed at the results! It was not too sweet; very moist and appealing to the eyes. I am well pleased with the services Monica provides because when she do it, she makes it as though she is preparing it for her and her family. She has a variety of gluten free items. If you have any specialty items you would like, Taste Of Home’s owner, Monica Tate, will do you right and you will not regret a moment of her baked goods. If you love chocolate, you have to try the pecan pie brownies. They’re insanely good, so rich and gooey - I couldn’t stop eating them. And the lemon poppyseed loaf? Huge hit with my family. Thank you Monica!

Monica is truly a sweetheart and so incredibly accommodating. You can tell within minutes that baking isn’t just something she does , it’s her passion. A friend recommended her to me when I needed Valentine’s Day cookies for my clients. I called her without a clear vision of what I wanted, and she walked me through ideas, helped me decide, and had everything ready so quickly. I can’t recommend ordering from her enough! she’s talented, professional, and a joy to work with.

I purchased an 8 inch round - 3 tiered Carrot Cake from A Taste of Home Southern Belle Bakery and was absolutely blown away by the taste. Monica is truly a master of her craft and I will order again. Ordering was easy, Monica asked thoughtful questions about the look and feel of the cake, and ultimately delivered a cake that everyone wanted seconds of. I highly recommend!

I am gluten free and I have tasted a lot of sweets that say they are gluten free, and it left a bad taste in my mind and mouth, but I tried Monica’s gluten free baked goods, along with other things not gluten free, and they were all so good. I recommend her whether or not you are gluten free because the one thing that I do know about her baked goods is that she bakes it like she is doing it for herself or her family and that says a lot to me. Keep up the good work Monica, because your work will be rewarded over and over again!

I’ve never had pecan pie before, so I decided to order one (after we already ordered and ate the red velvet cake—which was amazing, by the way). One bite in the pecan pie, and it tasted exactly how I always imagined it would. The pecan-to-filling ratio was perfect. The pecans were super crunchy and had a light flavor to them, and the filling pulled everything together beautifully. Here’s the best part: my husband doesn’t like pecan pie. But he gave it a try… and kept eating it while saying, “I don’t like pecan pie.” His plate told a different story. 🙂 Five stars!

We took the pumpkin cheesecake loaf to a Husker party today and it was a hit. So moist and delicious. We will be ordering again. Thank you

Even though we have an unseasonably warm weekend, I sliced into this Pumpkin Bread the second I got it home and I’m getting all the fall feels. 😍 It’s so delicious - I could eat it ALL in one sitting if my kids weren’t fighting me for it. 😉

I bought my first cake on a whim from Ms. Monica and it was amazing. Bought a couple more different flavors and they are just as amazing. I love having a local cottage baker in my neighborhood. I will continue to support her and encourage others to as well. Cheers to amazing deliciousness!!

We have ordered from Monica 3 times now and every time it’s phenomenal. We have tried the pumpkin cheesecake loaf, carrot cake cupcakes, and just recently ordered the sock it to me cake for my boyfriend’s birthday. Every baked good has been super moist and baked to perfection. I also ordered the cake on short notice but she was very accommodating to have it ready when I needed it and even added a cute birthday decoration I wasn’t expecting! We will continue to reach out to Monica for all our baking needs!

The red velvet cake was super moist and fresh, and the cream cheese frosting was amazing! I loved how there were swirls of frosting inside the cake, so every bite had the perfect mix of flavors. Definitely a treat I’d get again!

I am from the South myself and I was already aware of Mrs Tate’s throw down in the kitchen. Over the years I have had to make some dietary changes and I asked for a gluten free pound cake. OMG! she so meticulously researched and found a recipe and made it to perfection, with the first attempt. I am so glad that she stepped out to share with others her gift straight from her heart to her kitchen and into homes, businesses, and abroad. Keep doing it big like only you can, Sunshine!

Monica baked us an incredible naked almond cake with almond buttercream for our anniversary. It was both beautiful and richly delicious! The cake was ready when promised and looked so professional in a baker's box with a pretty seal. The cake was enjoyed by all!

I’ve had many of the desserts from A Taste of Home: Southern Belle Bakery. Whether it’s been the lemon poppy seed bread loaf, the hummingbird cake, or the double chocolate cake, all of them have been wonderfully flavored and truly “a taste of home.” I highly HIGHLY recommend trying this bakery - you will experience first-class customer service and you will not be disappointed in any dessert you choose to order.

The cookie cake was Ooi and gooey, and the taste is so divine
