Hi! My name is Monica.

I’m a Mom, Wife of a military retired Veteran, and a Southern Belle Cottage Baker living in the Midwest.

For over 20 years, l've been perfecting the art of baking, blending time-honored recipes with a personal touch. Every cake, loaf of bread, pies, and other treats are made with love, care, and the belief that food should bring comfort and joy creating “A Taste of Home” experience in every bite.

Whether you're craving a rich, moist cake, a melt in your mouth, flavorful cookie/brownie, or a moist and satisfying bite of my bread loaves, my baked goods are made with the finest

ingredients to ensure every treat is as flavorful and comforting as being at home.

Pricing is based off of the ingredients, supplies, and the time it takes for me to make your beautiful baked goods. Some prices may VARY due to design, sizing of baked item, complexity(more than one frosting and/or filling), and techniques.

Balance is due at the time of ordering. All bakes are scheduled in advance. If you can’t meet our arranged time for pickup, please contact me to let me know in a timely manner.

Payment Policy:

All payments are required at the time of ordering. I accept Cash, Cashapp, and Venmo. If paying cash, I will need a 50% deposit before completing the order. Contact me to discuss this option if you decide to proceed.

Gluten Friendly Policy:

A Taste of Home is a gluten FRIENDLY bakery. I cannot guarantee cross contamination in gluten FREE baking because I do prepare non-GF products with my utensils and baking pans. If you order gluten-free baking, you will receive a statement to this effect that will need to be acknowledged prior to your order being accepted and invoiced. I do my very best to make sure everything is steer clear of cross contamination if you do decide to order a gluten free baked good.

Pick Up:

Your baked goods are made with 100% of my attention and time from start to finish. We will carefully plan a time for pick ups that will work for both you and me to ensure the freshness and quality of the baked goods.
