About Us
Hi, I’m Olga, wife, mother to our three boys, and the hands behind 3 Strands Sourdough 🌾
What began as a simple love for baking fresh bread for my family slowly became something much deeper: a way to serve others through nourishing food, meaningful connection, and the simple beauty of gathering around the table.
The meaning behind our name and logo is deeply personal to our family. The three wheat strands represent our three sons and the strength found in unity. Just like a braid, each strand is vitally important, woven together to create something stronger, more beautiful, and not easily broken.
3 Strands Sourdough was inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12:
“A cord of three strands is not easily broken.”
That verse became the heart behind this little bakery, a reminder that faith, family, and community are strongest when woven together with purpose.
Our bakery was born in a season where bread brought so much joy and nourishment into our home. What started at our family table has now grown into serving this beautiful community, and we are endlessly grateful for the support that has allowed this dream to grow.
Each loaf is naturally leavened and long-fermented using organic, glyphosate-free flour, filtered water, and mineral-rich sea salt, crafted slowly and intentionally with ingredients we feel good about feeding our own family.
Although we could go on and on about the nourishing benefits of sourdough, our deepest hope is to remind those we serve that true nourishment comes from the One who truly satisfies, the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
We hope the bread you bring home becomes part of meaningful moments around your table: slow mornings, shared meals, conversations, celebrations, and memories made with the people you love most.
Thank you for supporting our small business and allowing us to serve your family through something we care so deeply about.
Warmly,
Olga Grebe
