Hi, I’m Whitney — wife, mom and the heart behind Zoē Micro Bakery.
ζωή (pronounced zo-AY) is the Greek word for “life” — the abundant, divine life that comes from God. This little bakery was born from a God-given vision to share that life and love through something as simple and sacred as bread.
At Zoē Micro Bakery, we believe in nourishing both body and soul. Every loaf is crafted slowly, using organic ingredients whenever possible — never sacrificing quality, intention, or care.
Why sourdough? Because it’s bread the way God designed it — slow, natural, and alive. The long fermentation process breaks down gluten and phytic acid, making it easier to digest. Unlike most store-bought breads filled with preservatives, additives, and quick-rise yeast, real sourdough is simple and pure.
Our heart is to build community, to connect people back to the table, and to remind each person that God is present in the everyday — even in the breaking of bread. We hope you taste His goodness in every bite.
At Zoē Micro Bakery, every loaf is homemade and baked fresh to order. As a small, home-based bakery, we prepare each loaf after your order is received, ensuring it’s fresh and made with care.
All loaves are available for Saturday pickup. When you pre-order, we bake your loaf especially for you.
