Hi, I’m Tracy! I’m the owner and baker behind Yellow Fields Bakery. I live in Lapeer with my husband, 2 children, and our cat. The inspiration for my bakery name comes from the fields of wild goldenrod that bloom every year on our property, creating a gorgeous view out our windows.

I found my love of baking when I was just a child and spent many hours in the kitchen with my grandma. I’ve always baked here and there over the years but really started doing it more after my kids reached their toddler years in 2017, baking often for friends and family. When Covid hit, I had nothing but time and worked on fine-tuning my recipes to sell to the public. Here we are 4 years later and my little baking business has become my career. I can’t imagine doing anything else and I’m so thankful for all those who trust me to make their treats. ❤️
