This loaf is exactly the same as our mild loaf EXCEPT the dough is refrigerated for 3 days prior to baking. This long fermentation period makes for a deeper “sour” flavor. *Limited availability for bake days* Orders for this loaf must be submitted at least 3 days prior to bake day. If there is not enough time for the long fermentation process a new date will be offered.
This loaf has a shorter fermentation time resulting in a more mild “sour” taste.
Using high quality mild cheddar cheese and fresh jalapeños makes this loaf a big crowd pleaser. Don’t be scared of the jalapeños, I deseed each one before they go into the dough so you get all the flavor without the heat.
