The West Farm Baking Co. is a one-man (well, lady✨) show so please be patient if you send over a message! Often times I have multiple orders in a week and I like to devote as much time perfecting orders as possible, which makes it difficult to check messages immediately. I’ll respond to any questions you may have ASAP! 😊
How Do You Calculate Pricing?
All of our custom orders are priced out on an individual basis, so we will work with you to figure out exactly what will work for your guest count and budget. All of our goodies have a base price which can be found on our webpage. Generally, the cost of a custom goody starts with the size, flavors, and design work. From there, labor hours are factored in as well.
Why is there a deposit?
When we accept your custom order, there is a lot that goes into making sure your order gets completed on time. From ordering materials, to hand-making pieces, and even turning down other orders to ensure your order is completed to the highest standard. A deposit will let us know you're serious about placing your order and allow us to get the ball rolling to completing your order.
Deposits are 50% of the total of the custom order and NON REFUNDABLE.
ORDERS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL THE INITIAL DEPOSIT IS PAID.
What Constitutes “Custom” Work?
The world of custom baked goods is much different than a traditional bakery. Each order is individually baked fresh and decorated to fit the customers need and timeframe.

Do You Deliver?
Yes! We usually schedule a meeting time and place with customers for delivery. There is no fee for delivery of baked goods within the Madison area. If delivery needs to be made outside of Madison, a fee will be calculated by mileage and time to the delivery location.
We strongly encourage delivery of large orders (wedding cakes, tiered cakes, full sheet cakes) so there is no issue with transportation to your event location. Once baked goods leave our possession, we are no longer liable for any damages.
What If I Need To Cancel?
Life happens! We get it. If for any reason you need to cancel your order please notify us within a MINIMUM of 7 days of your delivery date.
