Apple PieJameson Spitzmiller
I recently had the life-altering experience of trying this homemade apple pie, and let me tell you — if love had a flavor, it would be cinnamon-apple wrapped in a perfectly golden, flaky crust. From the first bite, I knew two things:
1. I was definitely going back for seconds, and
2. I should’ve hidden the pie from the rest of the family.
The apples were soft but not mushy — a rare culinary balance usually achieved only by grandmothers and contestants on baking shows who cry in every episode. And the crust? Buttery, crispy, and clearly crafted by someone who believes in carbs the way poets believe in metaphors.
By the time I finished “just one slice,” half the pie had mysteriously disappeared. I don’t want to point fingers, but I’m also not taking a lie-detector test.
If you’re looking for a dessert that could make you reconsider your life choices, win over your in-laws, or cause a minor fork-related duel at Thanksgiving, this is the pie. Highly recommend — but also highly recommend eating it in secret.
