What are cake balls/cake pops? A cake of your favorite flavor is baked, crumbled and mixed with a little bit of frosting, as needed, to make a dough. The dough is then rolled into balls, dipped into candy melt coating and decorated. Even though the dough has a consistency of a raw cookie dough/fudge-like inside, be advised that it is a FULLY cooked and NOT raw dough! This is the normal texture of a cake ball/cake pop. What makes my pops/ball different than others? My cakes are all made from scratch and their size are noticeably larger than most cake pops. I make my cake balls/pops with 2 oz of cake each. Typically, other cake poppers range 1-1.5oz with their cake pops. One of these pops is perfect for dessert and many people order different flavors of cake balls, and will split them so they can try multiple different flavors without eating the whole ball themselves.
