Well, it’s no secret that I love food — and even more, I love feeding people. Food, to me, is one of the purest ways to give back.
That’s the heart behind The Second Table. The name comes from the idea of a serving table — the place where those who cook or help finally get to sit, nourish themselves, and share in the community. It’s not the spotlight or the main dining table, but it’s full of purpose and care.
When I started sharing online, it was never just about selling food. My first posts were me prepping meals, drinks, snacks, and fruit to share with homeless individuals in the community. It began with giving, with connection, and with showing up for people.
Only after building that foundation did I start posting about what’s on my menu.
Because The Second Table isn’t just about food. It’s about making sure there’s always a place for everyone, even — and especially — after the main plates have been cleared.
