Q. How do I place an order? A. Orders can be placed through my Bakesy site. Alternatively, you can reach out to me through Facebook Messenger on my business page: http://facebook.com/JRCakeshoppe. Once your order is accepted, a 50% non-refundable retainer secures your date. Q. When is my balance due? A. The remaining balance is due one week prior to your event date. Orders not paid in full by this time may be canceled. Q. Can you recreate an inspiration photo? A. Inspiration images are welcome. Each cake is custom designed and handcrafted, so slight variations in color, texture, or detail are to be expected. Q. What flavors are available? A. Current flavors and fillings are listed within each product description on Bakesy and may vary seasonally. Q. Do you accommodate allergies? A. Our desserts are made in a home kitchen that is not allergen-free and may contain common allergens. Q. Is your kitchen inspected? A. Products are made under Ohio Cottage Food Law. This product is home produced and processed, and the production area has not been inspected by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Q. Do you offer delivery or pickup? A. Delivery availability and fees are shown at checkout. Pickup details are provided once your order is confirmed. Q. What if I’m late for pickup? A. Your order is created with love and care, and my goal is for every client to receive their desserts as planned. Pickup times are scheduled in advance, and late pickups may result in reduced holding time or, in some cases, forfeiture of the order. If you believe you may be late, please reach out as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate you. Q. Can I cancel or change my order? A. Because each order is custom made, all sales are final. Changes are subject to availability and approval. Q. How should I store my cake? A. Storage instructions will be included with your order. Cakes should be kept cool and away from heat or direct sunlight. Q. Do you individually wrap cookies? A. Yes! Decorated sugar cookies are individually packaged and heat-sealed for optimal freshness.
