The House of Meringues

Allow a maximum of three days for any response to new messages on all platforms. Note that Social Media will probably always be the fastest way to receive a response. All booking will be completed through this site. Please check calendar for availability prior to placing any inquiries. Keep in mind orders are typically booked out 2 weeks in advance. Rush orders of 5 days or less will only be fulfilled depending on availability. Please fill out questionnaire for all custom cake orders to better equip us with details to fulfill the orders. Please note we DO NOT work with fondant. You may add toppers or other decorative pieces such as flowers, etc.

 Upon ordering , a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your order. The remaining balance is due two days prior to pick up. Deposits are only accepted from customers who have already been quoted and confirmed the requested date is available. Acceptable forms of payments include Venmo,Zelle, and Apple Pay.

Pick ups are Thursday - Sunday. Time for pick ups include Thursday and Friday after 6pm. Saturday and Sunday scheduled time between 2pm and 5pm. If you will be late for pick up, please call or text at least an hour prior to picking up. This way we can ensure your cake is secured and refrigerated until you have arrived at the pick up location. Pick up location will be sent once order is confirmed and deposit collected. Note: Reminders to pick up your cakes will be sent the day before pick up. If you miss your pick up window and do not notify us within two hours of your after your missed time, you will then forfeit your cake.

Please note once any of our cakes/desserts have left our kitchen, clients are held responsible for the conditions of which the cakes are transported and cared for. This being said, please ensure you create a stable environment for your cake when traveling. DO NOT leave your cake in a hot car at any time. All cakes are refrigerated prior to pick up so we strongly suggest placing the cakes in a refrigerator if not being consumed right away. Please also bare in mind Texas weather. If it is hot outside, please do not leave your cake outside or it will melt.

All sales are final. Once an item has been picked up by you or your designated party, it is considered “Accepted”.  Accepted means that you, the client (or your designated party), has looked at the item and was satisfied with it. No refunds will be given for minor color or design discrepancies/variations.  Please note if an example is given for a cake design, your custom cake will not be exactly as shown in picture. The design will be based on my expertise in decorating.
