Can I get a referral discount?
Duh! Sharing is caring. If you refer a friend to us you will each get $5.00 off on your next order. Simply have them add your order name in the “Refer a Friend” text box during checkout and once it’s verified on our end it will be applied!
Can you make custom cakes?
I love cake, but sadly no. I do not offer cakes for purchase.
Do you make cookies for dogs?
YES! I could never forget our furry little friends. Please see the section under “Grrr-nola Bars”.
Are you peanut/nut free or allergen friendly?
Unfortunately the space cannot be guaranteed peanut or nut free - while I do not use peanut products I do make macarons which contain almond flour and during the Christmas season bake with pecans. I also do not shop for peanut safe ingredients so there is always a chance of cross contamination from production facilities.

Please note these will not be Celiac or allergy safe as there are other gluten and wheat products made in this space and there may be cross contamination.

Terms & Conditions: The Gilded Goose
1. Ordering & Payment
• Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order. No order is confirmed until the deposit is received, if not received within 24 hours of placing the order request, it will be cancelled.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery. If ordering within 1 week of pickup or delivery date the full balance must be paid at the time of ordering.
• Payment Methods: We currently accept e-transfer and process credit card and debit card payments via Square. The links for both will be provided at checkout.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Life happens! However, because we prep ingredients, start baking in advance and turn down other orders for your slot, the following applies:
If notice given to cancel is 4 days* or less there will be no refund issued and the full balance including the 50% non-refundable deposit will be retained.
If there is more than 5 days* notice given and the full order total has already been paid, the 50% non-refundable deposit will be retained and the remainder will be refunded to the customer.
* please note if the order is over a certain size or requires a large amount of time there will be a shorter cancellation window and this will be communicated with you before starting your order. You may choose to decline at that time if you do not wish to proceed with the cancellation policy, and only in this case will the deposit be returned.
3. Changes to Orders
• Minor changes (flavour, color tweaks) may be made up to 6 days before the due date.
• Significant changes (size, design choice, amount) may result in price adjustments and are subject to availability and not guaranteed. If the changes aren’t able to be made and the customer wishes to cancel, the cancellation policy still applies per normal.
4. Allergy & Food Safety Disclaimer
Important Note: The Gilded Goose is a home-based bakery. While we follow strict sanitization protocols, our kitchen handles common allergens including nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and soy. We cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.
5. Pickup & Delivery
• Pickup: Once an order leaves our premises, The Guilded Goose is no longer responsible for any damage occurring during transport. Please ensure your vehicle has a flat, level surface and a working AC.
• Delivery: If delivery is arranged, a fee will be applied based on distance. We are not responsible for damage once the order has been successfully delivered recipient.
6. Photography
• We reserve the right to take photos of our products for social media and marketing. If your order is a surprise, please let us know so we can delay posting until it has been recieved!
• Please feel free to tag us in any photos you post on social media, we love to see others enjoy our products as much as we do.
7. Agreement
By sending a deposit, you are formally agreeing to the terms and conditions listed above.
